How do you disable it? I'm scanning the common tab on the Livnitup's FORScan doc and the only thing that it could be is the last one on the list.

ADAS - Advanced Driver Assist Systems
Disable BlueCruise and enable Traffic Jam Assist
(settings for normal Adaptive Cruise Control)

Is that it?
You have to use Forscan

ADAS...Is that it?
Yes. Do this FORScan mod and you'll disable BlueCruise and enable TJA-Traffic Jam Assist. The Raptor mod. The double 8 mod. You'll just have AAC + LC and most importantly no nanny cam.

BTW, I'm still waiting on any Raptor owner to fully explain exactly what TJA is. I have my suspicion, but no one has confirmed it.

Edit: TJA should automatically brake, accelerate, adjust speed and steer the car. Like, well, assist you in a traffic jam. TJA shouldn't be ACC. TJA uses ACC, but the two are not one in the same. How does the truck know it is in a traffic jam? I'm guessing it uses BlueCruise's mapped highway information. You basically need to be on a limited access highway, not a busy city street. When you're in a traffic jam TJA acts like a slow speed BlueCruise (it works at speeds under 40 mph or so). It's supposed to be a level 2 ADSA. Level 2 is steering and ACC. BlueCruise has a type of ✌TJA✌ built in. When you're on a limited access highway and in heavy stop and go traffic, ACC knows this and will automatically resume when traffic moves again. On full access highways and around town ACC will time out if you're stopped for more than a few seconds.

Ah, you just beat me to if, below is straight out of the theory of operation, but TJA is pretty much stop and go plus lane centering by the sounds of it combined. Like you said, pretty much low speed Bluecruise by the sounds of it. Looks like it is a lower spec option though, so vehicles without BC would have TJA essentially, I.E. Raptors. If you look at the BC theory of operations, Cruise Control - Vehicles With: Active Drive Assist/Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control - System Operation and Component Description, it doesn't even mention TJA in it, just Stop and Go.

Stop and Go

ACC with stop and go feature uses radar and camera sensors to maintain a set gap between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you while following it to a complete stop. Stop and go can also be set to follow a vehicle directly in front of you and adjust the set speed when you are at a complete stop.

The goal of the feature is to assist the driver with steering functionality along with the accelerating and braking functions of the ACC stop and go in a highway-like environment to ease the stress of driving in traffic.

Traffic Jam Assist

The traffic jam assist system (if equipped) can be set to take over steering, braking and acceleration in start stop highway situations. Front radar and camera sensors working with lane keeping technology keeps vehicle centered in lane. The ACC system will adjust as cars enter and exit lanes in front of the vehicle the system alerts the driver of the situation. The ACC with traffic jam assist allows the vehicle to come to a full stop and accelerate with traffic. As the traffic jam situation disappears the driver is made aware of and reminded to fully take control back from the cars traffic jam assist system. Refer to the Owner's Literature for additional information.

Courtesy of Jesse many months ago, I disabled the Bluecruise eye-scanning nanny, which disables Bluecruise from triggering.

I still have Lane Centering and Adaptive Cruise. Just no handsfree or eye alerts.

I did the ADAS mod, the Raptor mod, the double 8 mod, whatever you wish to call it. ACC + LC worked perfectly. The BlueCruise nanny cam was disabled (I covered it to verify). The infrared lights still worked, but without the nanny cam they have nothing to do. As long as LC was happy with the road condition I could drive hands-free with the weighted steering wheel hack. I reversed the settings to get BlueCruise back.

I believe that in affect I had TJA but I didn't actually test it in highway stop and go traffic. To do so I'll have to purposely drive an hour into the hell hole called Philadelphia during rush hour traffic. One day I'll actually do this to see if TJA will drive hands-free in a traffic jam. I think it is 51/49 chance that it will.

If you don't have BlueCruise, do you have TJA? I don't know, but I don't think this is necessarily so. Raptors have it. You have to have ACC + LC. I believe the truck needs to know if it is on a mapped highway. If this is correct, this might mean you have to subscribe to Connected Built-in Navigation. Are there truck trims that have ACC + LC that cannot have Connected Built-in Navigation? If there are then I don't think these trucks can have TJA (nor BlueCruise for that matter).

Raptor Mod is just changing a BlueCruise enabled truck to a traffic jam assist truck just like the Raptor.

There's two numbers (I think they're both nine) you change to eights; hence double 8's. Doing this disables BlueCruise and the nanny cam watching you. If you subscribe to BlueCruise, don't do this FORScan change.

I didn’t see a ADAS section but I have similar values in the IPMA section. My values are similar but not exact. Is the IPMA the correct section in forscan? do you just change the final two digits to “88”?

In the screenshot below I saved the exact Asbuilt values my truck had before editing with Jesse's information. So all I do to go back and forth between nixing/enabling the eyescanner is return to the original Asbuilt in red below.
