FordPass Says Remote Features Being Turned Off

Plague, might be too strong a word but I had this issue quite a lot. Set on the charger, just to have it return in days.

Did the manual BMS reset and poof, its never happened again.

Shortly after, Ford addressed it in an OTA update but since the reset fixed mine, I can't say how effective the update is, or isn't.

Ford Pass Says Remote Features Being Turned Off to save battery for my 2021 Powerboost King Ranch. I assume this means the battery is on its way to failure. In reviewing other posts I think I will go with a size H8 battery. For convenience I will probably get one from WalMart; the house brand - Everstart or an AC Delco. Thoughts about the existing battery getting ready to abandon me or using an Everstart battery.

My 2021 PB does this after certain updates. The Battery has tested to be more than ample. Once I reset the Battery Monitor System, the error and warning goes away.

Turn key on, flash brights 5 times, tap brakes 3 times and turn off. Turn on and battery symbol should flash

Don't forget, replace that Aux battery under the rear passenger seat as well. When one goes bad, typically the other running in a switched parallel circuit is also not great.

Got it thank you! Now i'm researching if there is a better option for us cold weather guys to finally solve a 3-year war against battery drain problems!

Driving a 21 PB here as well, and as I don't live up north in Alberta like you, here in Colorado we have been cold as heck this last couple weeks. I tend to turn off my cab motion sensors when it's parked at the house. The vehicle is locked and alarm on, ut internal cab motion sensors are off to minimize battery drain. If you find a good solution please let me know, ie, both my batteries have been replaced and it doing ok but improvement is always welcome,

I just drove over 8 hours. I received the "Remote Features..." notification about an hour after I parked. SOC was 91%. Anyone have any ideas about what's going on here? Replaced the battery in December with an X2 H7.

H8 will not fit a powerboost truck h7 is the largest size for a powerboost. There could be more reasons your getting this message for example how you drive the truck, outside temp, and if your truck gotten the bms ota update.

I have a 21 Platty EB. My truck is on its 3rd battery , which was covered under my original warantee. The mechanic did an update on the BCM , which should fix the issue with the 12 volt battery
