I am going to keep an eye on this thread. I have the same problem. Can not put my 2021 in drive when something is plugged into pro power. No messages, no errors pop up. Have not had the dealership look at it yet cause when I first tried it I was in a hurry and I thought it was a fluke. But I tested again. It doesn’t work. Just won’t go into gear.

The only way that I’ve been able to move with something plugged in is to put in neutral, parking brake on then get out and plug whatever in then I can shift to drive and all is well. That is until I come to a stop again. Once back in park it won’t come out. Very odd.

I will keep that in mind. I will also test that out when I get a chance. Thanks for the info. Don’t need it that often. But you want to use it when you can.

Any new thoughts on this issue. Our power is out so just tried to shift again while truck plugged in and no warning on cluster and truck will not shift out of park. Dealer has no clue. I just did an apim update and 2 gwm updates in the last week. Still nothing.
I have the same issue. Originally I could use my ProPower while driving. The issue started after getting OTA 2.7.1 or 2.7.3. Talking to another forum member he had the same thing happen after getting those updates and one of the next couple updates fixed it. Unfortunately my truck is one of the ones that skipped over all the updates from 2.7.4 through 2.8.3. It's still only at 4.2.1. The problem should be fixed once it gets the OTA that puts the warning popup on the dash. It's not a big deal for me since the only things I use while driving can run off the in cab outlets.
