I know I said I was going to stay away for a bit, but I wanted to post what my tracker looks like today. Looks like I'm getting the "Stealth" model now:

Well I'm 3 hours from Dearborn and can't get it shipped...
There are worse things. Mine sat at the delivery rail yard for nearly a week before it moved the two miles to the dealership.

"So close and yet so far away..."

The good news is the log jam is showing signs of breaking loose. (As alluded above, "poor Chip"...) With the MY25 order banks opening in Aug, one would think (hope) we'd see a significant increase in the number of shipments and deliveries.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

Mine has been sitting at the rail yard since last Wednesday. Dealership is less than 20 miles away.

So.. a little interesting tidbit...

Just got back from the dealership. Apparently.. yesterday, my sales person had the owner reach out to Ford. He contacted someone in "Logistics" (I think it was), because my truck was listed as No restrictions to release.

Just a couple of hours ago, my truck shows "Released" in VinView 6/12. We are thinking that the person he contacted looked into it and released it. No more miles on the truck.. still at 44.74.

Makes me wonder if this is just some "I.T." application/backed database problem that affected trucks that were chosen for QC check. Like once the check was complete and good, someone forgot to check a box or something to push it to the next step (ie. They didn't "Release" it, even though there were no restrictions).

Just got off the phone with the sales manager at my dealer and my truck was last updated in VinView on 6/7 showing released for delivery 6/15 - 6/20 (It hasn't shown any other dates prior).

While on the phone it showed in their dealer system as "In Transit". Then I learned there are some significant rebates available to my VIN.

All said, pretty good news.

I used your notes on what I asked my salesman to look into this morning. I asked him to contact the regional Ford mgr that approved my Priority 07 order to confirm/deny the truck has been released. I am awaiting a response, but I am not expecting anything to break free at this point. I can only hope the current $2.5K of Ford Incentives and the 1.9% @ 36 mos / 2.9% financing @ 48 mos will be extended beyond their 08 JUL expiration date.

Tomorrow is 6-weeks since she was received back at the Production bldg after a brief visit at Ground Effects for bed & wheel well liners.

Had something very similar happen to me. My dealer proactively reached out to a regional manager (or something equivalent) to inquire about my specific VIN and the next day the holds were released and it was soon shipped. I thought it was just a coincidence at the same time since I never heard anything back about a follow up but maybe it wasn't.

Sadly still stuck in the Norfolk Southern's auto distribution center in Winston Salem where it has been for over a week now awaiting its final 2 hour journey to my dealership. No updates since 6/8.
