Congrats. I got zero response from my dealer when I asked them to inquire using the route you took to break out of QC Hold Purgatory.

After being stuck in Dante's 1st Circle of Hell (Limbo) for (5) weeks I moved to (Lust) this week watching everyone but my build move forward. "Last update 05/03/2024"

Looks like lots of trucks started hitting dealers this week especially. Hopefully that means Ford is cleaning out the storage lots and getting these trucks delivered!

Picked mine up from Granger yesterday. I still have another 3 hour drive tomorrow morning. There are a couple issues with it, hardware issue, a few design issues, preparation issue. Looks good anyway. Maybe I will write somethig up when I get back.

Makes me wonder if I should stop poking about still being the last one on this thread to be on an unknown hold at the factory.

I have told my dealer I want to have my truck put on the lift and look under at all wiring and I want a 24-hour take-home test drive so I can use every feature on the truck, including BlueCruise. I want to make sure it all works before I sign.

Amazing response.

Did in fact get a text from my dealer just now that the truck just arrived at the dealership. He needs to up his game on photo quality but still good to know its finally there. Out of town this weekend so wont be picking up until the following weekend but back to being excited for now.

FWIW, I had a nice discussion with the dispatch gal at S&S Logistics.

She said that Ford has hired them (and others) to pick up trucks sitting at the rail yards around Dearborn and hauling them to Kansas City (specifically the Manheim Auction yard) for final distribution. She said the rail didn’t have the capacity needed to get them all out of Detroit in time so they have been hauling them down a semi at a time to storage yards in KC for months.

For those of you with wacky trackers and updates (especially headed to the southern US), this may be the culprit since it isn’t following the “trip plan”. I assume I’m not the only one sitting in KC headed for Granger.
