Boosted 5.0 Crew Cabs?

Curious how many here, if any, that have a crew cab 5.0 that is boosted?.. I am on the fence about adding a F150 or a new Mustang, either way I want to add boost and I was thinking it would be cool to have a truck that I could fit 6 people in, have 4 kids and they always want to take the Mustang places but most of the time that doesn't work because there is usually 6 of us. I am curious how they would stack up vs a single cab with the same mods. I don't want to get a single cab, maybe in 5-6 years when the kids don't want to hang out with me anymore, lol.

Yeah.....my Whipple powered crew cab was pretty quick and it had 0 removed from it. 100% street truck. 502A package so all the goodies. I special ordered it. Dropped off my boys to school in it all the time.

Was at Ford dealer in town this morning for oil change, talked to a friend of mine that's a salesman there, said they have done about 7 of em, crew cabs. Wished they had one on the lot, 2024, white...may have been writing papers about now LOL

Only 4-800lbs difference between them so not much -- .10 to .25 seconds difference depending on trim/options.

The middle-to upper part of your range is pretty significant to me, especially if you're talking about 0-60 times. The difference in 1/4 mile times will be greater.

That's amazing, they added the entire 2nd row of seating, pair of doors, and the extra cab length and it only added less than 400 lbs. I'm really surprised the weight difference is that small, I'd have figured it would be more like 6 or 800 lbs.

There will be a big difference in weight alone. 2023 regular cab starts at 4,070lbs & Supercrews starts at 5,014-5300lbs. The more options you add, the heavier it will be. Reg cabs can only upgrade to XLT level trims I believe. There's gearing differences, 4x4 or 2wd; a number of other variables, but typically the reg cab beats Supercrews mod for mod because of weight.

Yeah, I guess a supercrew might well tend to have some more options, though not necessarily. Of course, if the supercrew in question is not an XL trim level then it's very likely to weigh more than what the chart above said.

I have a new 2024 STX Super Crew Whipple, I’m still breaking in the motor. During an AC issue, my dealer gave me a loaner supercrew with a whipple. Fastest 4door truck I’ve ever had!
