Thanks for the info and glad to hear it solved the problems. This will be my first go using Forscan but I feel confident having similar experience elsewhere and especially having others like you here to help.

Got a decent ride this Friday for some vacation to visit my parents so if I can get it before then I'd be very happy.

I paid $50 for a two license to update my CMR and perform the calibration procedures since the dealer had my truck for 4 days and didn't do a damn thing. Worth it. Unless my truck has a mechanical issue, I am done depending on them to fix anything technology related on my truck.

Has anyone seen / confirmed this article regarding the $800 per year Bluecruise renewal? As a Job 1 truck where the service wasn’t prepaid for 3yrs or whatever, I guess this would be due at year end when the trial is up.

If this is true after the whole debacle to even get 1.1 working ($600 on cable and FDRS license), I’m gonna blow a gasket.

2021 Lariat here. Blue Cruise has never worked, no updates, been to two different dealers and both say they can't get the software installed. It's fine to say you would never use it, but I paid extra for the hardware and it should work . I believe the original deal was two years free. I've had the truck over two years and Ford gives no answers to on when my truck will be fixed. Called customer service and they said they would let me know when the update thing would be fixed. I like the truck. I just want everything to work as promised and paid for.

Rarely do I get to use bluecruise due to map and speed limitations. Certainly wouldn't pay for it.

I will enable it MAYBE when I run to San Antonio a few times a year. Takes little effort to do so.

Keep in mind when you do anything to the ipma you will need to drive straight for a bit to relearn center for active guide line to work again for back up cam and to fix rear brake assist. You will get a RBA not available first time after writing to ipma. All fixed by driving straight for a short distance.

Also I would suggest writing that like alone and not write all.

That’s what is so nice is if you want it back you can have it very easily.

This is the adaptive cruise config the non blue cruise trucks come with. So it works very well and I’m some cases better. I used it for a while prior to making BC work. I also did use the weight truck with great success. No nagging at all and it’s very solid.
