Can a older version of the ipma be side loaded or can a new PMI be done using the original non updated ipma?

Yes, but only forscan can do it and you need all of the software files. I'll check my repository for them. @rugedraw if you have an ACJ file list I would appreciate it. I may be able to piece it together but it's easier to see the file list via PTS. Only trucks w/ ACJ are those who FDRS'd so anyone with FDRS and have not gone to BBC I could use your vin.

Yeah, I don't have F150's ACJ, got BAE (MME) and BBC.

Anyone that did FDRS ACJ forscan (the 1.4 from end of 23/early 24) and hasn't wiped their FDRS install / done a 'clean' install, you have the files. Anyone that FDRS's the 1.4 initial, turn on hidden files/folders under view, navigate here C:\ProgramData\Ford Motor Company\FDRS\fdrs\data
search 14h102 and if a file ends in ACJ you have the files.

This DIR only has BBC for instance (other files matter, but ACJ/BAE/BBC are current "1.4" loads)

I have these from my last FDRS session in Feb 2024 when I upgraded to BC 1.4. Any of these help?

Ford engineers are stumped. They are trying to resorect the damaged stock ipma.
If they haven't tried to update it to current software I want to know if we can pull the okder software off it and load it to the new ipma.
Will that be a possibly?
Other than that has anyone found the files?

Yes, you need to have a current extended forscan license

I don't think my dealer is going to release my truck with the replacement ipma that ford's engineers had my mechanic put in.
I will have the the original non updated ipma and I have the new ipma that Jesse had me order. We updated that one with a PMI.

I just don't know when ford's engineers are going to stop chasing crap that don't fix anything. They have replaced 6 sensors.
Still haven’t tried replacing the camera cable.

In the end the original non updated ipma works. But has other unrelated issues that warrant replacement. The two new ipmas they put in will not communicate with the camera.
It's looking more and more like a software issue. This started the second the new updates were installed.

This IPMA swap + latest software not calibrating is fairly new, just encountered it on another truck and I'm hoping ACJ's sideload fixes that. Given BBC and PSCM work together, might need to get older PSCM software too.
