Yea I just re-read @M.R.F.O.R.D. post and he has a 2024 and Livinitup posted that he added something to the spreadsheet for a 2024 specific DSP. Maybe ours doesn't support this hardware-wise?

Ok, so a 2023 Mach E got it working by doing it. This is what he shows:

Ford F-150 Beosonic, is it possible? 1727239971081-pd


I don't see anything on 01-01 outside of the change he made that coincides with our trucks.

However, on 02-01, The Mach E shows a 1 and I show a 0. On the spreadsheet, the Xxxx value is not listed. If it weren't 1am, I'd go back to my truck and change this to a 1 to see wtf happens. If no one figures it out or tries it before tomorrow night when I have time, I'll mess with it then.

But notice, that 783-02-01 has 2 hex characters for x*--. For example 1 = 01, E = 0E etc. it's the only way that "10" and above can fit in that block.

Therefore, my standard setting of "07" equates to a P702 (F-150) CC (Crew Cab (SuperCrew)). I will give "01" a try after I find out what vehicle type "U553" is ?

Ok, I found that really quick?. It's an Expedition. I will give that a go now, as if it's the setting for a MachE using Expedition EQ, it can't hurt to make my KR an Expedition for this exercise. Will report soon ?

No go for me, and I tried 1, 2, 8, A, C. Some choices change/disable speakers but setting back to 7 gets it back to normal. I'm happy with 3 tone sliders ?

The DSP might be firmware/software set for certain vehicles, or there might be completely different hardware/firmware/software part numbers ?‍♂

'That's a job for a kind North American to look into; we don't have Expeditions etc. here ?‍♂

That's what I was afraid of. I'll see what I can find out.

Scared to flash a DSP w/ some firmware it didn't come with? Sure channel mapping may be a little different, don't be skeered

I'm just glad he's well received over here, unlike...... Well, let's just say I wish I could conveniently glean his Mach-E wisdom as much as I can his Powerboost.

I get your point, but Ford has developed and released software updates for just about all 42 modules in my truck.
They suck at what they suck at. But they are GREAT at what they are great at. They are great at being HUGE and doing 1 million things simultaneously.

That just doesn't benefit me if they aren't fixing, or working on the one or two things that I want them to work on.

By the way, it took them longer than it should have, but they did fix the 12V battery charging in my opinion. At least they did in my truck. It went from WTH-pathetic to I no longer have to babysit.

Honestly, I hope they kinda leave my 2022 alone now. After about 75 software updates, it's time to call it done. :)

I'd be willing to bet there's a correlation between tolerance / testosterone / age -- when plotted on you know one of those graphs with the circles.

Some people are just pathetic excuses for a human and I can't help that. Imagine what kind of person one must be to want to take something and try to find the politics in it. Suddenly discussions of commodity pricing and vehicle rebates are political? I didn't change, terms didn't change... It's got to be testosterone.
