Yes sir, that is correct.
Given that the OP's question seems to be resolved, I'm gonna beg tolerance to continue discussion of the Aux Cam here ...

My OE side-card list included
  1. Audio
  2. Phone
  3. Trip 1/2
  4. Fuel Economy
  5. Eco Behavior
  6. Off-Road (Pitch/Roll)
  7. Zone Lightning
  8. Bed Cam
Aiming to tailor side-cards to my interests, I ventured the following edits to late yesterday (the last column shows my pre-edit values for the edited positions):
Ford F-150 Bed Camera missing in the home title cards forum tabl

The 'disables' were successful and I'm glad to have those cards gone (y)

Unfortunately, I did not gain a card for the Aux Cam

I'll go back later today to check my edit for that address (and also disable the never-used Zone Lighting card).

Any suggestion you might have is of course welcome, otherwise, stay-tuned for a hopefully 'good news update'.

Suggestions:
1. Did you reboot the APIM? Do so and do the IPMA for good measure
2. I don't have an aux cam so I can't test any of this. What is your SYNC revision? Also, as the sheet's information can apply selectively to multiple ford vehicles, it's possible that particular mod won't work. It's interesting that it appears well away from all other IODs, as if it were an added capability on more recent hardware/firmware/software ?‍♂. There may also be other inter-dependent settings somewhere; double-?‍♂, but I'll have a sniff around.

I didn't get to it today, but ...
Suggestions:

I did the reboot but it may not have been immediately after only making the Aux cam change - I'll reboot, revert to original, reboot, make the edit again, and reboot immediately to see if that helps. I'll try the IPMA reboot, too, it can't hurt!

I have the Ford Accessory Aux (Raer View) Cam on my trailer, works great, but it's not conveneint to hitch-up for testing at the moment.

I'm 'expecting' that if this works I'll at least see the Aux Cam card on the list with a button to 'activate the view' on the card similar to the bed cam. If I hit that button and get the blue-screen I see full-size when the trailer is not hitched, I'll be confident the card will work when hitched. Realizing that 'expectations' are like 'assumptions :ROFLMAO: !

There may also be other inter-dependent settings somewhere; double-?‍♂, but I'll have a sniff around.
FWIW, before making my edits I did a global search of the spreadsheet for "AUX" and only got one other hit. Don't recall the address but it was an 'enable / disable' option and mine is already coded for 'enable' at that address. But yes, I understand what you're saying and there could be a 'hidden gotchya'.

Thanks for the suggestions, stay tuned from Oz, I'll report back!

Since last post I used my backups to restore all of my recent edits to pre-edit conditions and drove for a day to ensure that was good.

Then this morning taking extreme care I re-edited starting from scratch, rebooting the APIM module after every single value change and rebooting the IPMA after the Aux cam change even though that module was not edited.

Side cards After Edits:
  • Navigation (when not on full screen)
  • Audio (when not on full screen)
  • Phone
  • Trip 1/2
  • Bed Cam
Intentionally deleted because I don't use them and don't like scrolling through them:
  • Fuel Economy
  • Eco Behavior
  • Off-Road (Pitch/Roll)
  • Zone Lighting
Also edited so I've got no more "full view not available" warning on any in-motion cam views (y)

But, no evidence of an AUX Cam View side card

Not today but I'll connect the trailer and see if anything appears with my Aux Cam 'active'

Maybe a fruitless effort for unknown reasons, but thanks for the suggestions, ya never know if ya don't try!

:wink::)

@Buyer2021, I tried this a few hours ago without a trailer (I don't have one) and I confirm that the Aux view doesn't get a card, although I have it with blue screen on full view. So yes, it sounds to me that unless it is enabled by connecting (and maybe setting up in SYNC) a trailer, you're out of luck ?‍♂

FWIW the aux and bed cams are both NTSC, you can change each of their positions and the aux cam becomes the bed cam and the bed cam becomes the aux cam.

NTSC feeds are signal/ground, so you can could experiment with a simple dual position switch so that position 1 is default whereas position 2 could flip the aux cam in place of the bed cam without touching the aux cam running into the APIM -- essentially with the switch flipped when viewing the bed cam it's now aux or bed based on switch position.
