I read that as well and was surprised to see raw edges right on the photos on their website. I called and asked them specifically about the edges and they said all aluminum panels with the urethane (bed-liner based) finish are shot on the tops only, leaving the edges exposed. Carbon fiber is full carbon where-as the matte is a full powder. I didn't want a glossy finish so opted for the matte anyhow. I've sprayed liner and I get why they didn't try to cover the edges but it would drive me crazy to have the edges exposed like that. One nice thing is the panels can be separated and sent off for a wrap/powder/etc. down the road.The AgriCover reviews mentioned a few times about the powdercoat/coating chipping around the edges
