Autofold stopped working after software update

Last night my 2024 F-150 installed an update "Window Performance" DDM-25.20.4.3 without any apparent error. However, now autofold for my tow mirrors stopped working. It is still enabled, but doesn't work. If I disable it, and re-enable it, it will work once. However, the next time I use the truck, it doesn't work again, but still shows enabled. Any suggestions?

Just to clarify, the mirrors still fold just fine using the button inside the driver's door. The function that stopped working is that they no longer reliably fold when locking/unlocking the truck as they did before the software update.

Mine did the same, and my Oil life went from 77% 11500KM left to 0% service now.
Stopped by at the dealer, they said it was a connection problem, not due for Oil change, just reset it in the car....

I had something similar happen on my ‘22 after a Windows DDM 25.12.0 update. You can review how that was resolved on the Power Up OTA mega thread. Page 168 post #2507. One quick solution to try would be to disconnect negative on both batteries on a PB for 15 minutes. I

After the last update on my 2013 F150, the sync display always start on settings screen, no matter what was displayed last.

I have this issue after every update. I have to go in, turn it off in settings, turn the truck off & on again, turn the auto fold back on in settings, then fold the mirrors with the button before shutting the truck off and locking it. It will usually work when I unlock the truck again.

Lol, that sounds about right. I’ll keep this in the back of my mind for if it happens to me.

I've had to do this 4 or 5 times already, so I don't know if all of the steps are needed at this point but once I see it happens I just run through those ridiculous steps to get it back online.

My oil life was not impacted...

I followed the above steps provided by @Dakar09, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. Still no auto fold even when enabled. It will fold once if I disable it and re-enable it, and then power down and lock the truck with the button on the exterior door handle. Oddly, if I immediately unlock the truck, it will also unfold them. However, if I leave the truck shut down for a while, when I return, the mirrors won't auto fold again.

For the earlier attempt, I locked it with the sensor on the door handle. I tried the steps again using the keypad, but still no luck...
