Never did take it in. Too busy. Has never happened since, i do try to turn off as much as I can remember.
All I get now is KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD. Even though I'm looking at the damn road. Tech.

So I'm at the light making a left hand turn onto the hwy. Truck autostops, light turns green, foot on accelerator, auto hold disengaged and I roll out onto the hwy(was on a hill at the stop light). Of course the truck has no go as.the engine isn't running. Im in a bit of a wtf moment and seeing the tach at 0 I slip into neutral to start the engine. Truck doesn't appreciate that I suppose and slams brakes on to a complete stop now block both east bound, one west, one south and one north lanes. Im literally blocking the entire hwy. Put into park and pressed the button and as if nothing happened it fired up. I then moved off the hwy, collected my self, and went on my way.
Oh and I was of course pulling my trailer.
Now I'm trying to get in the habit of shutting off the autostart.
Thought this was a one off but no.
Yesterday back at our parking lot I was dropping my trailer off and went out to unhook it. When I got back the damn engine was not running. Having a bit of time since I'm not blocking the hwy, I look at the dash and it says full power acc. Not running as if I pushed the start button with out foot on accelerator. Honestly sick of these new vehicles.
I'm sure I will have to take it to get some updates where it will sit like my 21 did for over 24hrs getting updated.
I feel better now.
Can't wait for this lease to end.
that auto start/stop issue is a real safety concern as well as drain on the battery and wear on the starter. I didnt think it was supposed to cut off when towing a trailer. Poor design for any automobile manufacturer .I know I can just press button OR drive in sport mode or buy an eliminator .Your situation could have turned out badly.

Make sure to follow the instructions in the review section Amazon, I added a picture and description there for 2025's, as it previously was connected under the center of dash, so the instructions from vendor isn't applicable to 25's. One open the dash on the left side of steering wheel instead, the included pry tool works great to pop off the cover.

I didn't manage to actually get the switch out, maybe someone else could figure that out, so I used hands from left and under the take off old plug and put in new. A little fiddly, but fit was good.

Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
That, gentlemen, is the reason I went to 4D tech.
