My driver side window on my 21 KR does not go all the way down and it will also squeak sometimes like it is too tight and needs to be lubed(I actually used silicone lubricant which helped some. Damn embarrassing to pull up to the drive thru window in an $70k+ truck.

Passenger side has no issues.

Before you take it in have you followed the steps in the manual to reset the one-touch?

Resetting One-Touch Close
Carry out all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence.
Close the window.
Press and hold the window control switch until the window is fully open. Keep the window control switch pressed for a few seconds.
Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed. Keep the window control switch held for a few seconds.

Note: Repeat the procedure if the window does not close when you use one-touch.
Just wanted to come on and thank you personally orlando150. I had this same issue, done exactly what you wrote and it fixed it. You saved me a trip to the dealership.

Thanks again.

Thank you. This worked for me as well in the bump down after going up.

There is a TSB on what they call window bounce back. Mine did it twice never mentioned it to the dealer but the last trip in the did a pinpoint test then reprogramed both front window modules and did the window relearn so far so good.

This happened to me the other day. I tried all of the button reset procedures, watched youtube videos, etc. Finally, I pushed the window down into the door with my hand and when I raised the window with the switch, no more bounce back.

Any idea what TSB it is? Mine does it intermittently. Usually when there is water or a little frost on the driver’s window only.

They didn't list the TSB number on the invoice but here is what they wrote, maybe it will help at your dealer.

I just got my truck back re this issue (and 4 other things including pulsing vibrations in the gas pedal, a fault 12v battery, misaligned door) and this is happening again. I have to physically assist it to close (doesn’t do it all the time). I’ve tried the reprogramming thing and the dealer “updated the module”.

I hate to always be venting, but I’ve really had it with this truck. It’s so nice in so many ways but it just won’t end.

I guess I’m glad I have crank windows on our Wrangler if this is the modern vehicle experience.
