Traded my 21 Powerboost on a 24 Raptor so do not have a need for these plates. They are the powder coated steel plates and were purchased in March of 2023.
Other than the dealership overtightening one bolt damaging the finish on that bolt they are in perfect shape. Could use a wash but ko...
The truck is now completely up to date(there were 20 modules updated) and the tsb issued 6/26 was performed.
I think the issue that has them stumped is the "rumble strip noise" but no shake or vibration in the 1300-1700 rom range in any gear.
****UPDATE****
...6 1/2 weeks after dropping my truck off(6/10) to address shudder and intermittent "rumble strip" noise, the dealer is reaching out to Ford for assistance again.
They have run all updates and updated the PCM. After that did not fix the issue, a "special tool" was used from...
Do you travel with items on your passenger seat? Could be the notification that the airbag is deactivated because it thinks you have a small child person in the seat.
IIRC it shows on the rear view mirror led.
For those of you following...crickets from "Ford" after posting my VIN and mileage.. Unfortunately what I expected.
Maybe its Stockholm Syndrome but I keep thinking Ford is gonna come through and prove me wrong.
Took it in under the ESP and now I have to prepay for rental since no...
I realized yesterday that I am also getting the intermittent high pitch vibration that sounds like your running over a rumble strip at 1300-1500rpm as well. More of a whine that last 1/2 second that you can feel vibrate the truck but not harshly. That has been happening now for a few weeks but...
My job 1 '21 had the transmission update done over 1 yr ago that resolved the transmission shudder that was present while applying light throttle at hwy speeds and when accelerating slowly uphill. This was a fairly common problem.
A couple of weeks ago, now at 73,000 mikes I felt it return...
Is this a common issue I am not aware of? I have a job 1 2021 with 18 speaker B&O Unleashed and though there is hardly any noise that comes out of these speakers I have never heard any crackling.
I have not but reviews in the snow are about average for AT tires.
I am running the previous Gen 6112 up front and 5160's in the rear with a +1" block. Being a Powerboost only hit about 2" of lift up front and still have a little rake which I like(seems to help with mpg too.
Wheels are Black...
I went through the same decision making 6 months ago. Decided on Toyo Open Country AT3. I've had Ridge Grapplers(LT and SL), Recon Grapplers(SL), and KO2(LT). Toyo AT3 by far have been best in the rain.
I'm running LT295/70r18 with 2" lift.
I haven't had the Bluetooth disconnect but I ha e had my wireless Apple Carplay do that in a few specific areas around the Austin area.
One area was 100% of the time for a 3 month period by the new Children's Hospital near Lakeline mall.
The Apple Carplay would disconnect, Bluetooth would...
They always shrink when you are using the Ford Navigation system that places turn by turn in the instrument cluster.
Should go back to normal when your not using the navigation turn by turn feature.
I have the 6112/5160 on my 21 PB King Ranch. She is a heavy son of gun so you definitely want to use the highest setting. On the PB the Bilstein kit adds 2.25” of height due to the additional weight vs other models.
I have been very satisfied with the ride vs factory. Eliminated the waterbed...
‘21 KR 4x4 Powerboost. Did +1” block in the rear with Bilstein 5160 shocks. Front has Bulstein 6112 on +2” setting. 34” 285/70r18 Ridge Grapplers on Black Rhino Warlord wheels. (I had a few hundred pounds in the back in beach pic)
