This is why I generally prefer to have the service techs do the first change.

I typically always have the dealer change oil for the convenience. I don’t like this synthetic blend idea vs full synthetic. How do I actually know they will fill it with synthetic? How does Ford full synthetic compare to Pennzoil ultra etc? Call me paranoid I know.

Well call me old school. Just finished the second change at 5200. First was around 1k. First was a PITA for the Filter, had to use an extension and universal on the cap wrench. Second was easy as I hand tightened. Drain plug no problems. I see some are removing the engine skid plate too. Not needed as far as I can tell, unless 2022 is different.
OE Motorcraft filters and Full Sythetic.
Will have dealers to the 10k services since they are included in the extended warranty.
Will continue the 5k half service on my own.
Figure the 5k service will be needed with the turbos and all that heat.
Not so much with NA motor.

I change my oil early after taking delivery. The reason is I want to dump out any manufacturing "stuff" that I can. I bought a three fingered filter remover that tightens onto the filter as you turn it. The OEM filter came right off. I have since been doing oil analysis and am slowly extending the change interval.

Same here '18 2.7 Ecoboost had a plastic pan and plastic drain plug 80k of oil changes at 6k and no issues just used a new yellow plug every 3 or 4 changes.....'24 Powerboost has metal pan and metal plug. Barely did the first 5k change.... Only change that takes just a little more time is the oil filter. Its is on the bottom front of the block above the steering rack so u gotta snake ur arm in there an find a good grip from under the intercooler area. Not many tools fit in there either but easy to figure out adter the first change
