Anyone added back the removed CHMSL camera - AKA bed camera?

That's why I asked because that light has the camera, so I'm not sure which assembly you are referring to. Seemed like it would be a straight up swap, as if it were a Ford light w/camera.

Just fyi, the installation instructions for this light say you have to remove the camera from your factory light and install in this, so if you don't have a factory camera in this position, you'll still need to get the factory camera, that is the assembly the other person was referring to. The fact that this light is the same cost as the one without the camera is also an indication that this doesn't include a camera.

Can you edit this to make the LinBus be the LinBus under the IPMA.

I didnt notice it said the BCM until now. THe lin Bus needs to be run under the IPMA options.

Can you assist me with the ForScan programming? I took some screenshots to confirm these settings are correct (2023 Tremor w/ 402A)

Got the CHMSL camera working

Thanks to @Jesse-Infotainment for providing the secret sauce missing line of IPMA code !!

My truck is a 2023 Lariat 502A w/ 360-degree camera, FX4 & Max Tow. The camera was "removed" during the build in late Feb 2023.

Another thing to do after I did after physically installing the CHMSL camera and making all the above FORScan changes except for the missing 706-03-01. I am not sure if it is necessary but I ran BCM (BdyCM) is running the IPMA Local Interconnect Network Network (LIN) New Module Calibration. The wiring schematics to the CHMSL camera show one of the wires labelled as circuit "VMF-33 camera-LIN". (corrected 7/8/2023 - changed running the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) New Module Calibration to under IPMA from BdyCM per recommendation of Jesse-Infotainment)

The LIN new module calibration procedure is to be run for installing a new 1) rearview camera 2) rain sensor module 3) intrusion sensor module 4) battery monitoring system module

The BdyCM IPMA LIN New Module Calibration can be found in the module list after clicking on the wrench symbol on the left side of the FORScan screen.

Do you know if these changes to apply a 2023 Tremor with 402A package? I, too, had the camera deleted and bought the OEM camera and installed it. Working on ForScan and wanted to confirm the settings in APIM as i'm getting some checksum errors. Also, which rear camera (rear vehicle camera / rear camera 2) --- see screenshots

My '23 402a had the "Advanced Security Pack Removal" on the sticker. I bought the part to add it back, and when I went to install it the module was already there (there is a thread on here detailing what parts are needed and what Forscan changes to make). I went and made the Forscan changes and it worked. Luckily my truck got built before they removed the bed camera, otherwise I would have followed this thread and added it back too.

Yes, you'd be SOL but I'd assume you have it hiding back there. Remove your existing light and take a look.

The CHMSL camera plug wont be hanging loose, it is secured to the truck with a push connector (a few inches back from the light if I remember correctly). When I first checked mine, I thought the connector was missing, but I just had to dig a bit more for it.

Glad to see there's a solution for this, for those affected by this crap. I feel like I lucked out and got a 22 that was built during the sweet spot - no deletions at all.

The CHMSL camera plug wont be hanging loose, it is secured to the truck with a push connector (a few inches back from the light if I remember correctly). When I first checked mine, I thought the connector was missing, but I just had to dig a bit more for it.

Was your connector down in the hole that has some type of insert sheet covering it? Here’s what I have. Doesn’t look good.
