Any update on a Trailer TPMS system?

I didn't put the harness in myself. My truck got crashed into in my driveway, so the repair facility put in the new harness instead of my old one when they were putting the box back on. However, I do have a pic of the truck with box off and have circled where the main connector for the harness is. Hope that helps!

Something I'd be interested in is if people are getting a DTC in Forscan when the trailer cam is disconnected. I don't recall seeing this DTC before (maybe it was there, I just honestly can't remember), but knowing it's a fault code for a camera, I can only assume that with all my other 360 cameras working great (tested them all on the Sync display) that it's looking for the trailer cam and doesn't see it since my trailer isn't currently connected. Thoughts?

I will go plug in the trailer one day to confirm, but didn't feel like maneuvering my truck funny in the driveway to get the rear near the trailer

Like amschind above, I also got it working, just this weekend in fact. Hardwired the camera in, got the TPMS sensor installed on the trailer frame and it's all working perfectly.

So, to reiterate the correct parts:

2022 XLT PB 302A with 360 cams, Max Tow and Pro-Trailer Backup Assist:
Rear Bumper Harness: ML3Z-13A576-PB
Camera and TPMS Kit: LC3Z-1A189-A

Yes, the camera kit states that it's for a Super Duty. Yes, the kit works on an F-150.

To ensure that your truck can show the correct data on the screens, you need to look for tire pressure stuff in your dash display under the towing heading and also for a camera indicator on your main 12" camera selector that as a picture of a camera with a little + on it "Aux Camera". If you don't have those, you'll need to dork around in Forscan and could potentially not have the correct wires going to the rear bumper. My build had those things on the screens from the factory.

Keep in mind that the Camera and TPMS Kit does NOT come with a Yaw sensor, but does come with the correct connector on the harness for one. I went to eBay to get the Yaw kit, which will arrive with with another cable that I simply won't need/use.

Thanks for taking time out to do a full summary. It's rare to find exactly what you need this deep into a 20+ page post. I ordered the parts for my 2022 Lariat 501A PB, notwithstanding the warning from the parts place that the LC3Z-1A189-A kit is for superduty only. Hopefully I'll get everything up and running. (After multiple trailer tire blowouts this summer).

I want to thank everyone here for providing necessary information to complete this project. Yesterday I changed out the wire harness, I had only 2 wires where more were needed, on my 21 XLT, 3.5 EB. 302A, with max tow, 360, co-pilot assist. Next will be purchasing the camera, TPMS for installation.

Hello all. New member here, long time lurker. i have read the entire thread and made my purchase believing it was the correct one. I have a 2021 F150 502A with the max trailer tow package. I have added a Borla Dual Exhaust and know there is some kind of difference for single vs dual.



I purchased the camera/TPMS kit and wire kit:



ML3Z-13A576-TFA



LC3Z-1A189-A



Unfortunately the wire kit has been out of stock for two months. According to some parts websites ML3Z-13A576-TFA has been replaced by ML3Z-13A576-PK. Can anyone confirm if ML3Z-13A576-PK is the new wire kit I should order? Thanks!

It shows the aux camera option in the display, and I see TPMS, too, so all ready there.
It was made in 3/2023, does not have the 12 pin connector, so it will need a new harness.

So - has anyone added the TPMS and Camera plus the harness to a 2023?
And, has anyone had any trouble with the Ford TPMS stems/sensors fitting their trailer wheels?

No problem on generic 15 x 6 aluminum RV wheels.

The stem diameter is standard for all but huge truck-type wheels.

I'm going to keep researching and hopefully get everything setup on mine. I wish FORD would just list these parts as accessories for our trucks and maybe even have a guide on how to set everything up!

I just added the harness to my 21 PB and installed the tire sensors Wednesday and it works perfectly. I did not add the camera since I went through this whole process early last year and since no one knew about this harness and I could not make it work I added wireless cameras on the rear of my trailer.

My parts showed up yesterday. They delivered a harness labeled ml3t-13a576-akf, but I ordered ML3Z-13A576-PB. I've a call in to see if the -AKF harness is a replacement for the -PB. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Update - Turns out that ML3T-13A576-AKF is a new number for ML3Z-13A576-PB, the two parts are identical. And, it turns out that my 2023 Lariat DID have 9 wires to the 12 pin connector, shipped that way from the factory, but for some reason Ford installed the 7/4 connector instead of the desired 7/12 ... I've replaced the 7/4 connector with the 7/12 and plugged the cable/camera/TPMS repeater from LC3Z-1A189-A into it. All good. Camera works and the truck wants to program the TPMS. That work will remain for another day. Now I've got a spare, never used ML3T-13A576-AKF wire harness looking for a new truck. Any takers? I'll box it up and ship it if you VENMO me the cost of shipping.

I'm not sure it'll work for me as I think I needed a different part number but it's worth a shot. Weird though bc I have a similarly spec'd truck as you. Shipping shouldn't be outrageous I'm like 75 miles south of you. I'll PM you.
