I literally just got done installing the Steeda rear sway bar and went for a drive. :) It only took about an hr, and I was really taking my time. Didn't need to lift it at all; I was able to do everything with the truck on the ground.

The truck feels planted, less roll, and it might just be placebo effect, but turn-in seems way better too. It's no Ferrari for sure, but totally worth the investment. It's a very noticeable difference.

I went for a quick drive, no noises, squeaking or anything that made me think it's going to fall off. ?
I've done about 2,000 miles on my Steeda and I have experienced all the same improvements you noted. It was a pretty easy install to gain such a performance improvement.

Just installed a Hellwig for 21 PB few days ago that I got it from American Trucks. Unfortunately noticed they changed there price from $487 to $614 it was for the previous model which works just relabeled I think. Might find one from another vendor. Anyhow they supply some nasty sticky grease couldn't imagine squeaks after applying this stuff. What they say is true I noticed way more planted rear end. Dare I say a little fun

Those of you who just installed the rear, do you plan on doing the front? Do you think the front is necessary after having the rear on there?

I'll give it a bit more time, but I don't think I'll change the front bar.

I replaced F/R sway bars on my WRX years ago and ended up putting the stock front bar back on - it made the front too stiff, which resulted in understeer at times. With only a thicker rear bar, I was able to use the throttle to rotate when desired. With both, it would tend to understeer and was less eager to let the rear end slide.

Completely different use case than the F150, as I certainly don't fling this into corners like I did the WRX.

Likely not placebo effect, the real-world effect of increased rear anti-roll relative to front is tendency to increased oversteer / reduced understeer.

If you now increase the front bar stiffness you might be back to where you started in terms of steering response (steering response is mostly a matter of front / rear relative difference).

Well, crap. I went to admire my work and realized I didn't quite install it correctly.. :| I didn't place the washers correctly on the bar/endlink connection and one of the rear diff brackets wasn't quite square, though I'm not sure if it moved after my test drive.

I loosened everything back up, fixed the washers and made sure it was square this time. No difference in how it rides, but I feel better at least. I'm also going to re-torque everything in a few days to be sure.

Does the streeda only have a 4WD kit? I removed the rear lift blocks so a 2WD lot would probably fit better.

I want to say yes, but they only list the 4wd one now. Previously, they had other selections as well. Might be worth a call - they're good people.

I was actually planning on calling them this afternoon to ask that very question, but I ran out of time before their office closed for the night. I'm planning on following up tomorrow.

To follow up, I called Steeda this morning. They have not yet test fitted a Gen14 2WD truck with any of their existing designs to know if they need to make any modifications yet. However, one of their employees recently purchased an F150, and they might be doing some test fitting on it in the near future. He recommended that I keep checking the website, because if they figure out what fits, then they'll update their website pretty rapidly to offer it for sale.

Just had an "Oh Duh" moment.... Steeda only makes for Ford! I kinda like the specialization.

Question to no one in particular: I want to order one, but even if I get it tomorrow it's super cold and I've got other projects started I'd want to finish. It will sit until Spring or Summer. Does anyone expect prices to rise? There has been mention of prices increasing recently; I never knew the lower price so I'm good with the $499. Should I order and stow for later or just wait until I'm gonna be able to add it quickly?

I say buy now. I would much rather have a situation where prices go down in the future than to wait, have prices go up, and have to pay more. My truck went into production this week and I still ordered one yesterday just in case prices do go up.
