Ok, well I own a 2021 f-150 lariat, and recently I have been having issues with the truck first it ended up showing a error screen with front parking sensor being blocked.. It ended up being a bad front parking señor and got the truck back Friday. Now I am running into a new issue, actually two issues. First the camera now has a delay, when I put the truck in reverse the screen show the truck but if him moving it lags bigtime and the finally catches up.. The next issue is real confusing. When talking on the phone with bluetooth, if I put the truck in reverse and the camera comes up, the bluetooth is all garbled, sounds like a alien talking, then the truck kicks the phone off to non bluetooth. If I reconnect the phone top their truck without hanging up. it reconnects fine. I really don't want to take the truck back to the dealer again. I tried a soft reset with sync 4 and it didn't help at all. Any ideas? I didn't really want to do a factory reset, with losing my subscriptions and ford pass for 10 days. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Oh, a 2021....what Syc4 version are you on? Depending on that you could have one with a bad APIM module....common with 2021's. If your APIM is good, you could then be stuck in OTA (over the air) update dead zone. If none of those are true, maybe when they replaced the front sensor something didn't get plugged all the way back in, and is causing random issues to pop up.

You could head over to VIN look up thread, and request someone to take a look, they can tell you what modules in your truck have updates pending.

@Lightninz04 Did you receive an OTA lately? I have seen a few people report similar issues after receiving one of the recent string of 4.2.x updates.

I did have the truck in the shop recently to fix the sensor and it did receive a OTA update, and that is when I started noticing the issue

Phone connectivity issues have been reported by quite a few people with the latest string of 4.2.x updates. My truck started to have issues when I got 4.2.1, too. A few days later, I got 4.2.2 and coincidentally I got an update for Android Auto the same day, and the problems subsided. I got 4.2.3 two days ago, and I have noticed any more issues since. However, my commute is very short, so it is a small sample size for me to say the problems are completely gone.

Yes It was in the shop for repair on a front parking sensor that was giving me issues, and I got a notice on ford pass that a new OTA update was successful. And the issues have gotten worse since then for sure

My sync version is 2301_product, revision 713 unless their is somewhere else to find the version i am currently on, and when i hit update, it says no updates at this time

Also the front sensors are no issue at all, and if i connect my phone via wire for CarPlay everything works fine, it is something with interference with my bluetooth for sure. The camera has stopped giving me issue as I was forced to the last resort and do a factory reset, but the issue with the bluetooth continues. I am a but nervous with these trucks having so many issues and its only 2 years old, thank god for the warranty, when i am out of warranty i will not have the confidence in this trucks electronics to last, would be forced to go elsewhere.
