I was gonna say if they are permanently angled and you want to angle them back, just take them out and put in a vise and bend the rods back to where you want. Had to do this on 2 Tacoma’s i had in the past. Wasn’t hard at all

LOL, well which is it? I suppose this is very subjective. Does anyone have a picture they can share?
If you like the seat back more upright than reclined, the headrests force the seated persons head forward in an uncomfortable manner. This is my wife’s complaint. When we bought her a new car four years ago we sat in every available model and make. The main criteria was whether or not the headrests would be comfortable for her. We wound up with a 2018 Explorer XLT which- wouldn’t you know - had adjustable headrests. None of the Toyota Nissan Dodge or Honda SUVs had them.

I don't think that the "stationary" - that is the 2-way headrests - lean so much forward that they even touch your head, even in straight up seat back. That's my issue - they are too far and I want them tilted forward so I can lean my head against it on long drives.

De gustibus non est disputandum.

There are a myriad of reasons you’d want them. Glad I’m getting them.

Take them out and put rods in a vise and bend them til your liking. May take a few trips back in the seat to test them. I’ve done it numerous times on trucks

Those who want them aren't looking for a fixed angle head rests, we want to be able to move them - sometimes I want them leaning forward, other times they may bother me so I want to be able to tilt them back.

If you can’t find any 21 headrest you may have to sell and get a 21 truck or another brand if headrest adjustment is a big deal. I’ve had 33 trucks and never messed with any of them lol

It was a nice feature that I liked when I looked at F-150's long before ordering one. Would I not buy the truck if it did not have them? I probably would. It's just another little thing that pisses me off that Ford puts them wherever they feel like regardless of trim and then supposedly stop making them.

I always thought the F150 had the best adjustable headrests of any car/truck I've previously driven. Having owned three thirteen-generation F150s, imagine my dismay to find out our new '22 didn't have this feature.

Ford, you messed this one up.

Update: found some from a totaled truck at a recycler in Michigan. They are the wrong color, but I’ll see if my current covers will fit, otherwise I’ll order some new ones from Ford. I already know those are an in stock item. I’m hoping I can save $100 however. Total cost so far is $240, but totally worth it for my wife’s comfort.
Update on an update: The used ones arrived and my wife likes them a lot. So it's a win for me. I've had to order new covers however since the covers on my orginal headrests will not fit. The shapes of the two types are quite different. But TBH, the black cloth on the new used ones doesn't look very out of place in my grey interior.

Many of you see this as a "princess and the pea" situation, but for my wife it matters a lot. I'm glad to have made the change for her sake.

Can you please share the link where you bought them?

I don't see any of the right ones on the site right now, but I imagine some will come up eventually. The ones they do have aren't the adjustable variety.
