So I ordered a pair from Ford, plus the covers that (hopefully) match my interior. Now we have to see if they will actually ship or on backorder, or if these 2021 models will fit my 2022.

That's a bummer. How can it not be available when clearly they put them in the Platinums and Limited (and I suppose Raptor too)? These are the same seats.
I think I'll stop by my dealer's parts dept. one day, will probably be easier to chat with someone when they can see all the parts in front of them and compare.

Those in the Platinum and Limited have speakers in them for the Body Odor Unleashed.

But Lariat's used to get them and XLT too and not all of them had the unleashed.

Yeah, but apparently only the Lariats with Unleashed get them now and no trims below that.

OK, well not all Lariats get them, I didn't, probably as a result of Ford just throwing whatever they have on hand regardless of the trim because apparently some XLT's do get them.

But if Lariats without Unleash (at least some of them, if not all) get the swivel headrests, then apparently Ford does make then, so can't you fit those in your truck?
That's why I said I think it would be better to speak face to face with a parts person while they have all the trims and p/n in front of them and see on the spot if they would fit.

Yes, Ford DID make the adjustable headrests without speakers for a time but apparently stopped making them completely, since they are no longer available for separate purchase.

They don't. I have 21' Lariat 502A "High" (high my you-know-what, when XLT's from 21 have them and later Lariat models don't...) and I don't have them.

Update: found some from a totaled truck at a recycler in Michigan. They are the wrong color, but I’ll see if my current covers will fit, otherwise I’ll order some new ones from Ford. I already know those are an in stock item. I’m hoping I can save $100 however. Total cost so far is $240, but totally worth it for my wife’s comfort.
