Getting ready to pull parts to do this to my '25 STX 200A with mobile office package. I did the same to my old '22 302A a few years ago and it was great. I assume the Forscan changes haven't changed for '25 models for those that did it?

The OE bracket is a better option than mounting in the grille unless you're dead certain you have the sensor aimed correctly.

I still haven't found an assembly yet for my '25 STX. There are some floating around being advertised on ebay that are for the Lightning or Raptor trucks so be careful.

RB5Z9E731A is the module for gas trucks with a build date post 01/08/2024.

Worst case buy an assembly for a truck 2021 and newer and swap the module.

NL3Z-9E731-A looks to be the part number for the Lightning.

I did the grille mounting. It’s kind of a pain, and now that it’s set I hope I don’t need to do it again (except I will, because I need to switch out the chrome grill)

The metal bracket that holds the sensor and plastic sensor positioning block is different on the 21-23 and 24-25. See below. The 24-25 bracket is on the left. You can still use the plastic block and captive rivet from the 21-23 but the metal bracket is different for 24-25. RL3Z-14C022-A is what you need for a 24-25. The older one won't work.

Can someone confirm exactly what distance sensor bracket is used on the 24-25 trucks? Ford Parts gives me opposing answers. The VIN I used to search for is a '25 XLT with adaptive cruise so it has the same bumper as the STX. This gives me ML3Z-9E731-J. BUT this seems to indicate it's for the Raptor with different style bumper.

NL3Z-14C022-A is the actual metal bracket part number that I found for the 24-25 gas F150. It lists for the 22-up Lightning as well as the 24-25 gas F150. This is a different part number than the 21-23 F150. I'm guessing the older bracket won't work? Can anyone confirm this?

Edit: Confirmed they're different. You can still use the plastic bracket from the 21-23 but the metal bracket is different for 24-25. RL3Z-14C022-A is what you need for a 24-25. The older one won't work.
I ordered a Grill Relocation Bracket as its supposedly better and no issues with radar bounce back, but I also dont have Chrome trim on my grill

Thought about that, but you’re one pebble away from buying a new sensor having it exposed through the grille. Not to mention partially losing the shutters is a noticeable MPG hit on the highway in cooler times of the year.

Just finished this install on a latiat 501a. Made all forscan changes, disconnected , power cycle and reconnected with a new profile. Forscan does not see the CCM and I have a dtc from the ipma stating no communication from CCM. Have reset all changes back to as built and went through the changes again, but same issue. Not sure if it matters but after I installed the CCM, before making any forscan changes, I had to drive the truck about 15 miles. My guess is I received a bad CCM, but seeing if anyone else has a suggestion.

Not sure how long your meter leads are if you have one but it may be possible to ohm out your harness by popping off the bumper cover panel and seeing if you can disconnect the plug. Do that before buying a new one.

I will have to rig up something small enough to insert into the plugs, but will give it a shot. The harness and part were both brand new from a dealer. Everything else connected to the harness is working.

I made an attempt at this earlier this year with my 24 XLT but lucked out on the bumper harness. I ordered the ML3Z-15K867-MA, which definitely doesn't work for a 24. I have been trying to find the right part number for the bumper harness, but have been struggling to find any good info. Anyone have good access to help determine which harness would be right for a 24 XLT with LED Fogs, Blindspot, and Adaptive Cruise?

Someone probably has access to ECAT and can tell you. Could also find a VIN similar enough to yours and go to a parts counter.

I am trying to remove my ACC module and put it into a different truck. Its been awhile since I did the retrofit install. What is the best way to get back to the trucks original As built in forscan? And I had heard we can flash our ACC sensors now without FDRS and just use forscan? Is that true, or not worth it?

With these trucks phoning home eventually your modified as built becomes what you'll pull down from the Motorcraft site. You need to have your original as built saved. I suppose you could find a nearly identical VIN and use that to return your modified as built to stock but it'd be a huge pain.

Forscan does have a beta that can flash modules but be careful with it. I used it to update the firmware on my old 22 when I added the CCM and it was sketchy to say the least. As long as it's working I wouldn't touch it since it's a "dumb" module anyway.

You think it's unlikely for me to take the radar out of my truck now and put into a Lightning? Would I be better off leaving it and buying another sensor?

Or I shouldn't need to flash it and it should work in the lightning with an updated Vin?
