You think it's unlikely for me to take the radar out of my truck now and put into a Lightning? Would I be better off leaving it and buying another sensor?

Or I shouldn't need to flash it and it should work in the lightning with an updated Vin?
Lot of "ifs" dependng on the firmware level of the module you have and what a Lightning would expect. I've tried force updating the firmware on a MY22 CCM for my 25 but could not get it to take it.

Took about 3 hours but I got everything set up and calibrated this morning. Had the same issue with the ABS module as someone previously with a MY25 and needed to put a "9" into 760-03-01 to get it to not throw a MIL. All is well now.

Just would be nice to have nav to have the speed limit sign function work correctly since it doesn't persist between signs. Anyone tried to add an older built-in nav APIM to a 25 yet? I doubt the connected nav one would work.

I went through my as built files to find the differences between the sheet that was provided and my values and there are a ton of difference but the sheet is still relevant as an easy guide. Regardless I came up with two questions.

702-16-01 xxx* xxxx xx-- on the sheet it shows 9 to B enabling RadarFusion_52deg (from previous value camera only52deg)

My current value is A which is camera only 100 deg should I set this to C to enable RadarFusion_100deg? I'm not sure if the 52/100 is referring to the FOV of the radar or the camera.

706-02-01 *xxx xxxx xx-- I'm slightly confused on what the instructions are asking for here, add 6 to the second value and make it the first value? Isn't the goal just to take your current data and add FCTSRM Fusion? I'm currently set to 2A and logic would lead me change this to 6A to keep everything the same but add FCTSRM Fusion. This ignores completely the adding of the first two values (and I cant add A to anything anyway), can anyone double check that I'm on the right track with this thinking?

Outside of nailing down these values it appears that this should work perfectly fine on a 2025, I'm waiting on the final parts now and then hopefully I can confirm all of this for my 24-25 guys sitting on the fence.
Did you have any luck with this? I have the same questions but I have 2B for 706-02-01.. I have A for 100 degree also. I tried to make all the changes yesterday and got a camera fault that would not go away and traction control issues. Seems like the changes I made in the ipma caused these issues as soon as I rolled back the changes to ipma the faults went away.

make the changes to enable outlined features but just select the value that correlates to the 100 degree cam. If you did that your problem may be somewhere else. While doing this on a 25 I really only had to get creative with this:

"Only ran into one wacky value. ABS module throwing DTC's at me when I set 760-03-01 to the logical choice of B. Only when set to 9 did it clear all of the codes. According to the Forscan master sheet this value should be for f-150's without hill descent control, my f-150 has hill descent control."

Thanks! Hopefully I’ll get back out in the garage and try again tomorrow..

You really have to pay attention to the Forscan spreadsheet. A decent number of the original values changed from when I did this on my 22 until I did it to my 25. Look for what needs to be turned on and match it to your current configuration.

Preparing to do this retrofit (awesome work superfordman + others) and went to check all my module values and noticed that this Electronic Horizon APIM value does not have a corresponding entry in Livinitup's spreadsheet? I found another thread where this was pointed out and explained to use the value 9 instead of 8 due to the nature of how hex values work. Would that make sense?

What I have:

7D0-05-01 xx1x xxxx xx--

What the spreadsheet says are the possible values (0, 4, 8, C):

7D0-05-01 xx0x xxxx xx--
7D0-05-01 xx4x xxxx xx--
7D0-05-01 xx8x xxxx xx-- (but I should use 9 instead?)
7D0-05-01 xxCx xxxx xx--

You'll have a backup to return to if you need it. I used "8" there on my 22 and now my 25 with no issues.

Big thanks to superfordman and everyone else. Ive been following along for a couple of years and just got this working on my 2021 501a v8 lariat scab. Forscan changes were easy thanks to the suggested changes spreadsheet. I went back and activated PSA on a whim and the option appeared. With 45 min of seat time, I can't really tell the difference from the TSR option but everything is working as it should. Actually looking forward to my 550 mile drive to work this week. Thanks again.

EDIT: I guess I never changed the BCM value or maybe I entered the wrong one. This time I used the Easy Mode to change it. Well that's all it took. I am going to leave this up. Maybe the values will help others with a 2025 STX. I will test it out tomorrow.

I did this in my 2025 but cannot get ACC to work. I get an error message on start up and I have a code: U2101 in my DTC. What should I be looking for when tracking down this issue? Here are my values:

FORD F150 Lightning 2023 XLT 311A
Good Morning Everyone
New to this forum .. Please pardon my ignorance. I recently did a DIY (Adaptive Cruise with Lane Centering/Keeping) on Ford Lightning XLT 2023 311A model.

Took more time than expected as i had to run custom wires from 134 Connector to IPMA module. Car is now running fine with Adaptive cruise.

I did the Cruise Control Switch today (ML3Z-9C888-DA) so that I can control Radar distance to follow setting.

After swapping , seems like none of the buttons on this side are working.
This is what i did

1) DIsconnect 12V battery for 1 hour
2) Do the steering wheel switch swap
3) Update SCCM module with new values
4) Restart CAR

Its still not recognizing the new switch. Here are the new SCCM values

Can someone please advise what I might be missing ? Any response/advise will be greatly appreciated.

@superfordman , If you can chime in .. that would be great.

Thank you

Would someone be able to explain how the first digit in 706-02-01 works? If I have a 3 do I just change it to a 7? Is that all I have to do? I don’t understand that whole 2nd digit thing.

Also, why would we want ISA to be disabled in 7D0-09-01? What does this do?

thanks in advance!

Stop using easy mode. You may want to check what your original values were to make sure nothing odd got changed. Make the changes in the as-built and try again.

What do you currently have at 706-01-01 **xx-xxxx-xx? It varies by year and IPMA software.

ISA is intelligent speed assistance. It won't work unless you have factory navigation active so leave it off.
