You're on the right path, you just need to familiarize yourself with the main forscan sheet as all of this is straight from that. If there isn't an easy mode change, you need to modify the asbuilt to enabled the bolded feature for your asbuilt. Don't just put in my suggested change if your is different to start.
Awesome!

ReverendQ and I have been going back and forth in DM's and he's been super helpful in clarifying the process of going between the "general" sheet and yours to find specific numbers for the change on my individual vehicle. That was the "gap" for me since I had only done easy mode changes in the past.

Speaking of Easy Mode, your sheet says you recommend using it when possible. I was making some guesses as to when an easy mode exists and when it must be an As-Built change. Is it like this, where green filled boxes indicate that an easy mode change is available and white boxes mean it's an as-built?

Can anyone confirm if the part number below is correct for the most recent version of cruise control module only (without the bracket)?

I used ML3Z9E731G that includes bracket but it appears from below if you have the bracket yes that is the sensor.

This thread is easily the greatest thing I’ve ever come across! Just bought a brand new 2023 F-150 Lariat PB, 501A that does not have ACC… Blows my mind that it doesn’t have it, but oh well. I was really bummed out that it didn’t have it, but couldn’t pass up the deal I got. Had a friend tell me about Forscan and all he’s done with his Raptor and started looking and sure enough, tons of people have already done what I only dreamed of doing, haha. Spent the last few hours reading through the entire thread and ordered the harness, sensor, switch, and bolts to get the job done. Cannot wait to get back to ACC! My old Accord had it, now I’m happy that my F-150 will eventually have it! Thank you to everyone for all of the work they’ve done over the years to get this working.

And wait until you learn the ankle weight trick.

The magic bluecruise hands-free everywhere mod that includes trucks not equipped with the eye nanny. Tesla patched it out by looking for static force like a weight. If ford does that, I have an idea for a spring assisted micro pendulum that varies force from movements in the wheel causing a continuously varying force.

I have an idea for something as well if it ever gets to this point, but it would take some crafting and programming which may be slightly out of my league, but if it works like I envision, you'd have hands free essentially everywhere you have lane centering with nothing hanging on the wheel at all. But when the good ol ankle weight hack works as good as it goes for as cheap as it does, doesn't make much sense to reinvent the wheel that does the same thing.

I mean there's comma 3x as well. I just don't want another screen front and center and I'm hoping to see a new unit that doesn't have a screen. There's pretty much a 0.0% chance I'll be paying for bluecruise in my other vehicle. There's just not a big gap between "hands-free" and hands on mode. I'd always just used the knee before lane centering was a thing. Just a slight bit of friction on the wheel as it turns itself is enough to keep it happy. It's long straightaways that need a patch. Having to put input into a wheel when the road is straight is a bit counterproductive.

Hi guys
quick question, I have the Adaptive cruise added to my truck, and everything seems to be working except I noticed the Lane centering icon turns grey when I enable Adaptive cruise, it seems to be still working on lane keeping mode (the truck will correct when i drift to the edges of the lines

weird part is when adaptive is not engaged the lane centering icon is green at times - still trying to narrow that down as to why but when it does the wheel definitely has more resistance

So I’m working on adding the adaptive cruise and front sensors today and when I went to add the pins to the truck side of the bumper harness, I noticed that it was already pre wired yet my connectors at the IPMA are not.
Needless to say, I have to do some splicing I just thought that was odd

If they're at C134, that runs to C265, you just need to jump from C265 to IPMA.
Do you have 360 cams?
