NA is a 21 ipma. They have all the chips it’s what people are buying to add APA back. Any 21 will work they didn’t break them up in 21.

22 late 23 it seems they started to have ipma based on models.

na comes in trucks with blue cruise in 21.

it can be PMI in a 23 I’ve already tried it

There is another IPMA in 21

ML3T-14G647-FS

came in 21 Job 2 and 2022 early builds and has all the chips.

Ill try to make a list of IPMA that have all the chips.
I have a ML3T14G647FK IPMA out of a 2021 platnium. Should be good. It had parking aid as per the rear pictures from ebay(front end was ripped off) - https://www.ebay.com/itm/165870365427

I started to do the checking as to what I was prewired for. Here is a not professional grade video if someone is looking to check what they are prewired for. In the video I said I was going to bypass the 1590 connector but got pins ordered from digikey - assuming I got the right ones so plan to just pin out the parking aid sensor fron C134 to C1590 and then run all 10 wires to IPMA. To. be clear I am buying the bumper harness - at one point I said 'once I buy the bumper sensor - meant bumper harness'. Same with saying the connector is under engine - when I clearly show it behind engine by firewall

For those that ran wires from IPMA to the C265 connector (under passenger kick plate near glove box) how did you go from IPMA to that connector? Looks like factory goes either under the seats or nehind the seats before they are installed. Looks like you can go up/behind dash but even then their appears to be a few paths including one that goes behind the displqay and one that goes up against firewall. Anyone do this and find one way better then the other?

You don't really, if you need to add the wiring from the IPMA to the CCM, you just make a harness that goes straight to it. IPMA straight to the CCM through the firewall somehow. If you don't have the pins at the IPMA connector, you don't have them in the engine bay harness either and that's not worth the hassle. So just find a way to run the four wires between the two and that's what you need to do.

Easiest way is to find a narrow hollow tool that can be made pointy and poke that through the large grommet right near the IPMA. There are commercially available tools as well that will allow a jacketed conductor to pass through and reseal when pulled out.

For those looking to confirm if they are pre-wired to the bumper for the cruise control module (CCM), please see post #125 from @superfordman on page 9.

For those who want to build harnesses and have connectors so they can be removed post firewall, I found this combo pack of crimps for the various pins in the vehicle and a good set of connectors. These aren't for the vehicle's interface, but when adding harnesses, it's good practice to add connectors where vehicle wiring has them for maintenance related purposes.

Comes w/ 1 each of the connectors (m+f) and everything needed to make them functional (sans the wire)

First off, ENORMOUS thanks to everyone who helped figure out all of this stuff. It's pretty mind-boggling that you all did and I'm very grateful. Using all of the above, yesterday I removed my grill and bumper, replaced the harness with an "-MA" one (which is actually MF in the current revision), installed the CCM module, and proceeded to do the myriad Forscan changes required, as well as running the CCM calibration in Forscan.
I can say it almost entirely works!! It centers nicely in the lane when activated which is pretty magical, keeps its distance from the car in front, even coming to a stop if necessary, and the speed signs are picked up by my camera (I don't have built-in nav) and displayed on the dash.

What doesn't work, is if I activate "speed sign recognition" in the adaptive cruise control menu, it wont let me activate adaptive cruise control and beeps and shows this error (even though you can see it knows what the speed limit is):

Is this because I don't have nav and therefore this will never work? Or is something still wrong? I went over and over all of the settings and can't find anything I missed, plus after clearing the DTC's, nothing shows up there after repeated drives.
(If i leave the speed sign recognition option off, it doesn't complain and lets me use adaptive cruise normally)

If I can't get that to work, I'm still THRILLED I now have the lane centering and adaptive cruise control, so again thanks to everyone!
BTW I found removing the 6x 21mm bumper nuts a lot easier from the top than from underneath, but your mileage may vary.

You probably missed something somewhere w/ forscan. You need the help of the truck whisperer @Jesse-Infotainment

Definitely possible. The thing that I couldn't figure out for a while was IPMA 706-02-01.
Since I don't have nav, I read I need to use a "5" for the first character, but doing so gave me lots of dash errors and threw a DTC for "Control Module Configuration Incompatible" so I dug back in. My *original as-built" first 4 characters for 706-02-01 were 3367 so, adding "4" for cameras only and not fusion to the second digit which is 3, I ended up back at the recommended first character of "7" even though I don't have nav. That's how I got to no DTCs and things working for the most part. But it's possible that still isn't right....

Also, just confirming, the spreadsheet says to change 720-03-02, 3rd character, to 4 for TSR disabled, but my vehicle already had a 4. Are we sure this isn't supposed to be a "C" for TSR enabled?

You can't enable speed sign recognition aka "intelligent" adaptive cruise without converting to a nav-capable APIM. Just keep it turned off in Sync and you'll have your normal adaptive cruise with lane centering work just fine.

You'll have a DTC in the IPMA because it's now looking for input from the APIM, but it's a silent DTC that you won't notice unless you scan for codes.

Yes, others have confirmed as soon as they swapped in a Nav APIM IACC started working like it should, so as of right nows its not possible to get IACC working with a non-Nav APIM.

No, the IPC TSR is for a whole different model range where everything is done exclusively through the IPC and not both the IPC and APIM like in the F150.

I also tried the camera only option on both my Nav truck and a buddies non-Nav, in both cases doing so makes everything very angry like you saw and then nothing works.

AH, well that would explain it. Small bummer only because it can clearly read the speed signs, but overall very pleased with the upgrades here. Big thanks again, all.

This is interesting that you say this. Either I made a mistake (totally possible) or my 302A has CCM wiring from bumper to passenger kick panel connector C265 but not from there to IPMA. When I ordered my 2023 I couldnt order it with co-pilot assist so mybe they tweaked the harness from IPMA.

I started at C134/bumper connector since I pulled the bumper to add the 6 parking sensors. I had to pin two wires at bumper to add the 5th and 6th parking sendors but C134 was basically otherwise full so I assumed/think it has CCM support. For my two extra parking sensor wires, I ran those wires via the drivers side connector. You are right that pinning at that connector is not worth the hassle. I did it since 6 of the bumper sensor wires were pinned on engine side (for the typical XLT 4 sensor setup). Though if I was doing it again I would have likely de-pinned those 6 wires and added crimps for those 6 wires that were pre-wired on the engine side and had the other two acrive park sensor wires just bipass that connector as well.

Since the bumper connector was basically full I figured I was set for CCM and didn think to much of it. However today when I went to wire the 6 sensors from drivers firewall connector C1590 to IPMA and I had more 'empty' pins at IPMA and when I checked the CCM pins they were missing there. C265 is way up high in the kick panel and it started to rain so I will attack it in the morning but I am thinkng I will be pinned there on engine side only. That connector is a crappy spot if I had to pin one side.

The whole idea that the CCM wires and the bumper sensor wires both start at same bumper connector and end up at IPMA but one goes up drivers side and the other passenger blows my mind..

C265 isn't as bad as it looks once you remove the TCCM (box on the 'wall'), the fuse panel cover and the kick panel (requires side dash cover to come off and the scuff plate as well. Get all of that out of the way and that's your easiest access. I've got mine torn apart right now.
