@Jesse-Infotainment what are the changes that Ford removed the wiring between the from bumper harness and IPMA for the front sensors?

wonder if we’re gonna run into a problem there too?
I wouldn’t think they would but you never know with Ford…lol

That is the one on the outside. It may not be available yet.

You can get the NA. You have 360 cams. So you want to make sure it has the green connector.

The na is the one everyone is getting for apa too.
So far the -na ones I find are showing xlts. Hard with stick type photos to ensure they are correct.

NA would make sense for me since I have an XLT. Looks like FH is for Lariat and Rapter. Could be wrong though.

NA is a 21 ipma. They have all the chips it’s what people are buying to add APA back. Any 21 will work they didn’t break them up in 21.

22 late 23 it seems they started to have ipma based on models.

na comes in trucks with blue cruise in 21.

it can be PMI in a 23 I’ve already tried it

There is another IPMA in 21

ML3T-14G647-FS

came in 21 Job 2 and 2022 early builds and has all the chips.

Ill try to make a list of IPMA that have all the chips.

@riderryan92 Since we have very similar trucks, it sounds like even if I get the harness that supports the front sensors when adding the Assist 2.0 radar, I should probably hold off on ordering the front park sensors themselves unless I want to change out the IPMA right?

Yep, that's what it looks like. Real bummer. I'm still gonna do it, just trying to find a IPMA now.

Ok cool. I am also dealing with adding the correct rear harness to be able to use the trailer camera and TPMS so I think that’ll be enough mucking about for me for a while haha. The ACC with lane centering will still be a huge upgrade even without ICC and more park sensors.
Thanks again for the help!

My IPMA is supposed to deliver to me tomorrow and I hopefully will have the chance to install it to determine if it makes the front parking sensors work. Jesse is confident, and so am I at this point. I will be sure to let you all know.

I'm going to make sure the harness I buy can support them if I want to add on later. Definitely following to see how yours turns out.

So.. yes the IPMA will need to be changed out if you want to add front sensors. This has been confirmed now.

THis will be for Mid to late build 22 and up.

If you are wantign to add the front sensors.. and are not sure what IPMA you have send me your VIN and I can check for you.

As Jesse stated, adding front park assist sensors to a mid to late 2022 & up now requires the purchase of a 2021 or early 2022 IPMA to work. It has now been verified to work perfectly.

New (to me) IPMA

Here are the directions to swap it out, it really wasn't hard to do. I will add that if you remove the drivers side dash panel, you can reach in from there to help get to the harness connectors.

When you take the two bolts out at the top of the IPMA, pull it away from the sidewall of the truck from the top on a downward angle and this will allow you to slide it out from the bottom clips. This is not worded so well in the instructions, and it took a few minutes to figure this out, so I wanted to pass this along to anyone else who may go this route.
