Don't know if it makes any difference but my truck is a 2021 ordered in March of '21 and received on July 15th.
Mine was ordered May of '21, recived Dec of '21, I still have the dancing on startup with glare free. for reference, I however do not have Supercab, I have SuperCrew.

Those should be good to go.
What trim level? Obviously we are assuming you have the headlights required.

Switch in auto, truck in dark garage, and NO moving of the lights at startup or within a minute after. Nothing.
Alright you have something that’s not behaving. The adaptive beams in a turn are pretty obvious and the start up routine to date is consistent with everyone that has the projector headlamps.

Lets try a couple of things to see if we can figure this out.

Can you send me all of your current values for:
7D0-09-01
7D0-09-03

Also check for any current DTCs when you capture the values.

Separate of the values try the following:

Go to your lighting settings:

1. toggle glare free off, then back on.

2. While in that menu see if you have a adaptive lighting toggle like the image below. Most likely you do not, but if you do cycle off then back on.

3. Use the high beam control stalk to manually cycle through the hi beam settings by pushing forward to manual hi beam then back: Start > Green headlamp indicator with “A”, > manual on High beam, > high beam off (no green indicator), > Green headlamp with “A”.

It sounds silly, but after making some changes cycling the feature off then back on will get it working correctly going forward. This should be a one time exercise.

I recently enabled glare-free and thought I had the same problem. Turns out, the headlamps were functioning correctly—i just couldn’t see them go through the calibration routine from the driver’s seat because the angle was bad, the front of the truck was close to the garage wall and the lights pivot a lot less than I was expecting. Before concluding that yours aren’t working, have someone outside the truck look at the headlamps when you start up to confirm that they aren’t working properly.

Excellent advice!

ROBB1, I am tied up Saturday and Sunday and will check on Monday for all the items you stated. From what others have stated you should see the movement on curves and I have never noticed it taking place. Maybe just another defective thing on my truck.
It is a 2021 Lariet 502A package and it has the two round lights one on top of the other on each side of truck.

You definitely have the correct headlight assembly and the as-built for your HCM you posted earlier shows the adaptive bending is active in that module.
The only thing I will add is the feature is speed dependent, you have to be above ~32 mph. That said, I feel it’s pretty noticeable on a dark road the lights are turning with steering wheel inputs.

Mine work as long as my wheels are moving forward. I’ve noticed it in parking lots and around curves going no more than walking speed.

The high beams are speed limited - you are right at 32 mph for them to kick on, and I think I’ve read some people getting into the teens or 20s before they switch off. I have no first-hand knowledge about when they kick off, though.

I haven’t really established the “bending” speeds, so you may be right on the lower movement speeds. I can say for sure you have to be rolling as you mentioned.

For the high beams the activation speed is much higher than the deactivation speed. They kick out around ~15 mph.

You are 100% correct. With my DRL's set to 75% brightness from their normal dim when the headlights are on, it was not possible to see the headlights on the garage wall. So, I used my cat curiosity and opened the drivers window, stuck my head out, and started the truck.
YES, I can see the headlights moving all over the place. They do work. You just can not see them from the drivers seat.
I'll get the other information on Monday. It is late and I have to get up early.

Just turned this feature on (99% sure lol it’s not dark yet to check) but got the glare free option and it’s turned on. Did you guys also lose the ability to turn the fog lights on and off when the lights are set to “auto”? I used to be able to turn them on and off when in the “auto” position. I am still able to do so in the other settings.

No. My fogs work normally in auto.

Hmm I also noticed that when in “auto” and I park, leave the truck running, and exit the truck, the DRLs turn off. When I get back in and put it in “reverse” or “drive” the DRLs turn back on. This does not happen on the other light settings, only in “auto”
