If it was too bright out, auto-high/glare-free won't work. Not saying that's the problem, but could be. For me, if I can't easily see the light output, glare free and auto high doesn't do anything

It does look like the glare free needs to be darker. Out at 10pm they work great. This morning they did not work again. But there is just the faintest amount of light coming from the east. It must be just enough. Oddly enough the auto high beams were working just fine in this condition. The glare free seems to be more picky.

Not a problem, Just something to know.

I took possession of my 502A back in early February. I quickly switched over the appropriate codes to allow for the Glare Free headlamp possibilities and was amazed(Thanks again Robb). On the flip side I lost the back and forth capabilities that came with the truck. I also have a Check Headlamp System warning that pops up every time I start the truck.

Once again getting into this issue I notice that I have a CCM fault talking about an obstruction as well as an HCM fault telling me the indicator lamp is off. I have gone through the changes on multiple occasions to correct what Robb shared in post 8.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Change to the following:
HCM
Short bed No onboard scales / ccd
734-01-04 xx53 4E

That will take care of the HCM warning and associated DTC. That is the correct value based on some of the other settings in the HCM you do not have the scales or CCD suspension.

The CCM DTC is not related to the glare free. My first recommendation is to clear the DTC and see if it comes back. If it does you would need to investigate whether something is blocking the radar as a first step.

Not near my truck but in forscan but are there 4 digits in the second box? If so keep the last two digits in that box and only replace the first 2 with 4E.

The last 2 are the checksum, but forscan is likely still looking for them even though it will replace them with the correct value.

Well, I got everything to accept the change except for the IMPA... Service interruption. I'm uncertain of the procedure to get a test version or whatever it'll take to make that last change.

I have the OBDLinkEX and have updated drivers and firmware.

Follow the contact us instructions here: https://forscan.org/contactus.html

You will need to send your logs which is described in the debug section.

Thanks. Figured out what/how to send this afternoon. Losing the truck for spray-in bed tomorrow, so I have time for their response to finish the mod hopefully by the weekend.

They are usually pretty quick. I’m sure you will be in good shape for the weekend.

2019 Raptor, 2022 Lariat on order
I did this to my truck tonight, 502A short bed w/ccd and scales. All the changes seem to have taken. No errors and glare free showed up in the menu with a green indicator on the dash. I'll have to wait to see how it works for sure, but no indication that there will be any problems. I initially did get a DTC for the HCM but clearing it with forscan and a power cycle and it didn't show up again.

One thing I will mention that had me nervous for a bit was that the automatic lights would not cycle off. I programmed the truck in my garage which is very well lit with LED overhead lights. There should have been plenty of light to cause the auto lamps to shut off. I figured I'd just take it for a drive and see if it would sort itself out. As soon as I backed out of of the garage and into the natural light, the headlights shut off. Once I pull back into the garage, they come on again. I don't ever recall the lights on my previous truck (2019 Raptor) coming on in the garage unless the garage lights weren't on. The only thing I can think of is that it's the narrow spectrum of the led lights in garage don't trigger the sensor. I even shined my LED flashlight directly on the sensor and it didn't trigger the lights to shut off.
