After nearly 3 years, it's on to a new owner. Thanks to the tariff vehicle appreciation bump, I was offered the same price some dealers are trying to sell them for (shh, don't tell them).

Yeah, 2nd EV I've sold them. Between all of the title issues and the supply catching up with demand post covid, figured they'd have folded by now.

Damn, they're doing better than I expected, especially off of that $4 low

The business model makes practical sense, but the execution is atrocious. I have heard horror stories about titles. The way they make a profit is by buying vehicles in low demand or in states where the price was lower and flipping them in states where its higher/higher demand. Buy an F- 150 in an urban city and sell it in the country. I believe that's how they can offer so much for the vehicle.

I got a quote from them in 2021 for a 2020 mustang gt performance pack 1 premium coupe with 7250 miles on it and they offered me like $32,000. I pretty much told them they were high, local dodge dealer bought it outright and gave me $41,000. I was the original owner and the car was in basically perfect condition, no wrecks or anything.

In 3 years I've accumulated a total of 15k miles on my vehicles, the least amount of vehicle usage I've ever had. I don't put much thought into it, I just watch everything and usually make my mind up and fire in under 4 days.
