There were 2 new Bronco Raptors parked in my marina yesterday. I sure don't like the rear flairs they designed. Even if I was back to owning 4 or 5 vehicles it wouldn't find its way to my driveway. And yep, it's pricey.

My buddy has the Explorer ST. After driving my F-150 5.0 he said he thinks the 5.0 would fit the ST better than the 3.0 HO EcoBoost they put in it. Same power and torque between F-150 5.0L and Explorer ST 3.0L EB, but way better monstrous sounds from the V8 and he said my 5.0 is actually getting 1 MPG better than his 3.0 is. Idk how heavy those 3.0 Explorers are, if they are steel that could contribute some. It’s a mute point because like I said to him “no way a 90 degree DOHC V8 is fitting in the ST platform without cutting your fenders out” :ROFLMAO:

I think it’s a badass American SUV. And it’s nice Ford went back to RWD on the Explorer too. They also aren’t 100k!

Wildtrak doesn't have the oversized flare of the Raptor

The 3.0 is the H.O. engine of the Nano family. The Aviator has it and also the Explorer ST.

In the world of ridiculously overpriced vehicles, I think the Bronco WildTrak is the better choice over the Raptor. The Sasquatch package comes standard and the HOSS 3.0 Fox suspension. The 2.7EB is sized well for its' heavy duty Ranger frame. Saves $30,000 compared to the Raptor version and fully loaded with luxury pkg is less than the entry level Land Rover Defender.
The reason I questioned the 3.0 as rather or not being an HO is because it is not mentioned as a high output on the B&P site where as the F150 is specifically mentioned as HO. So although it may be high output as far as that engine goes it doesn't seem to me like it is a true modified or purpose built high output engine.

Fords website is sort of hot garbage, the build and price tool doesn’t mean anything. I can’t even count the misinformation on two hands on just the F-150 page.

Just a standard 3.0 EB engine? I thought part of the reason for getting any Raptor was an HO engine. Hard pass at that price!
I also find it odd it comes with the heated steering wheel yet didn't they take that away from the F150s? No idea how many Raptor Broncos they'll build but I'm guessing 10k or less so maybe that's why it gets the heated wheel, probably easier to come up with 10,000 chips than 100s of thousands but still doesn't seem fair.
sme engine in the aviator and KR explorer for ks less money and better ride at the mall going over speed bumps

I'm guessing the dealer saw all the traffic probably from this forum and it's now at $119k !!

Completely biased here and I'll never afford this probably, but this morning I've seen my first Bronco Raptor coming the other direction. White, so those wheel arches stood out like crazy.
Honestly, I thought it was f*&cking ugly.

Rolled my window down to hear it as he was punching it and it sounded like a sad trombone.

I know I'm biased/spoiled with my Bullitt's lovely exhaust and all, but nothing about that vehicle looks appealing to me. Some Broncos look alright in the right spec and not too crazy wheels. This one did not.

100K? That's cheap for a Bronco Raptor. That would be a deal in Canada! Haha!
