I wonder if you have an extended warranty if this will void that.

Not according to my dealer. I had them install the Ecoboost version on my truck last month and they literally swore on a stack of bibles that they would honor my Ford ESP.

I hope you have this on paper because dealerships tend to always go back on their words when the ? hits the fan. Handshakes aren’t good anymore.

If your dealership “promises” you by word of mouth that they’ll “honor” an extended warranty. Just make sure they put those words in writing. That no matter what “performance” addition you’ve made, warranty work INCLUDING said performance addition will be covered.

Very similar in Mass too. If you research CD on the Ford 5.0 it good for up to 15% improvement in fuel economy which is significant.

I had a tune for awhile on my 5.0 mpg didn’t change.

Someone help an old fart out. I read all through this, based on I would be interested in the tune to keep warranty on my now 1 month old 24 5.0 I don’t have a sport mode to select. What does A.S.S and CD stand for?

Are you sure your truck doesn't have selectable driving modes, including sport? My 4 month old '24 xl has that.

I was mistaken. I thought the 2H 4H 4L only gave you those modes. Then I twisted it and OMG!

I think hope is dwindling on them releasing it, they released the Ranger tunes a week or two ago that were filed at the same time. Likely don’t want to compete internally with their own supercharger package.

Poor decision imo, as a $800 tuner and $9,000 supercharger not the same markets….but sometimes we get not so smarty product placement out of Ford.

Big difference in price point between the supercharger and a tune. I don't think that would be the reason if they don't release it.
