The Pedal Commander is a must have modification for the 5.0, in my opinion.
Politics aside, a PC or any throttle response controller is well worth it. Changes the drivability of the truck.
I'd say "kinda sorta overrides". ECO mode seems to delay/slow the throttle response. So you press the pedal a bit more than in Normal for the same throttle response and also seems to shift to a higher gear sooner (and Sport appears to be even more sensitive and keep it in a lower gear by comparison).Doesn't flooring it override ECO mode? In other words, when you fully open the throttle you get maximum power and shift points. It seems this would be the case but I have not tested it.
