The 5.0 guys are all driving around at 40 mph looking for their next victim.

The Powerboost guys are all feathering the gas to stay in EV mode as long as possible.

The Ecoboost guys are all doing burnouts and racing Raptors with their new Ford Performance tunes.

The 2.7 guys are in a work truck so they are not trying to race anyone so that people don't call the "How is my driving?" number on their rear bumpers.

I beg to differ with the OPs 90% rolling race numbers. (love these made up Internet numbers all the time).
Fact, 87.3% of all statistics are made up on the spot...?

Can you get a Gen14 f150 with a 3.5 in a RCSB? My take on F150s if you lined them all up from a dig. All need to be 4x4, and if you did it back to back the RCSB5.0 would take the win the second time.

1 Supercab 3.5
2 Supercrew powerboost
3 RCSB 5.0
4 Supercab 5.0
5 Supercrew 3.5
RCSB 5.0 is not losing to a supercab 3.5 or super crew PB ?

Please get with reality.

Yes!
I incorrectly posted the combined mileage. All that waiting adds up to a very respectable 22mpg hwy.
Correct ~22 is what my truck gets on the interstate. I appreciate the acknowledgement of you being wrong.

I mean, its my fault i read though all this. its my fault i fell to NOT make any comments but my god these are the dumbest pecker measuring contest ever...

LOL Chad vibes from this comment. like the pot calling the kettle black.

my only two cents...i have a 3.5EB and have had a 5.0 rental. Mine is a LB CC and the rental was a SB CC both have/had 4x4

Someone mentioned it here but you have to rev the piss out of the 5.0 to make it feel "alive"
does it sound good? sure does. does it get up at go above 4-5K RPMS? sure it does.

is it faster than a 3.5 when you make up very specific parameters and then start adding whipples?! i'm sure it is.

This thread should be about stock for stock, off the line and from a roll. Also, are the trucks the same configuration like gearing?

where are the facts? Where are the numbers?

Once we throw our dicks on the table with whipples and tunes, then its all subjective.

anyone who wants to spend money can make something fast
Speaking of Chad vibes…

We all have our favorite flavors of ice cream and none of them are "wrong". I personally have never understood a truck trying to be a race car. And its not for me to understand it...
The prob is nowadays everyone with $1500 can "tune' their jalopy to go fast. Gone are the days or porting heads to match intake and exhaust manifolds and getting flow numbers to build the correct, custom cam. etc. etc
I beg to differ with the OPs 90% rolling race numbers. (love these made up Internet numbers all the time). Usually the ones rolling race are those that dont have adequate rubber\traction to get off the line and maintain as evidenced by my previous post and every 3rd Mustang video being launched into a ditch... or the guys that NOS their rolling launch at 40mph. Cant NOS, well without skill, cant NOS a standing race without going squirly.

Ill stick with my baby which is an actual race car built from the ground up. Here is a vid from probably 15-20yrs ago...

Obviously 90% was never meant to be an official #. ?

It was just to point out that the vast majority of random street encounters occur from a roll.

Nobody is talking race trucks just a friendly call out since it’s argued by 2.7/3.5 guys constantly hence 8+ pages.

Traditional hot rodding techniques are still used.

Not even going to get into your “NOS” rant lol

It will lose to every PB in this thread bc they’re all tuned lolol
Every PB truck in this thread will lose to a 5.0… if it has a whipple/turbo.

I have a 23 Lariat with a 2.7 and get 26 mpg in eco mode every day. Now you can no longer get the 2.7 in a Lariat it has to be 3.5 or larger and you also have to have 4wd no 2wd in a Lariat. I live in South Mississippi and do not need 4wd and have had 4 different trucks with the 2.7 it is a good solid motor, do not understand why they are giving you less mpg if you want the new truck
