Unfortunately a coil spring suspension is more expensive to manufacture then a leaf spring suspension and when you already have the best selling truck why bother.

After driving around on the normal 3/5 flip kit drop in my '25 since June I have hated the ride, doesn't feel hooked up at all, ever... even before the blower etc... had started thinking four link was the answer and this post cemented it for me. IHC trash, your days are numbered.

There is another forum member that is having a 4-link installed on their truck...can't wait to see how you guys like it. I've got close to 4000 miles on mine so far and still love it!

You will want the frame notch with the 4-link...which will allow you to go lower than an axle flip kit will allow. You'd just need to spec the coil overs for the ride height you want.

I'm running the RideTech coil overs in the front that I originally bought with their 3/5 drop kit. I sold the rear flip kit to recoup some money. Twisted Metalworkz does sell front coil over kits with Viking double adjustable shocks. If you haven't bought anything yet for lowering your truck, I'd just go with Twisted Metalworkz for everything. Make life a little easier...

How much upward travel do you have in the rear axle? Does it actually go up into the frame area that was cut out? How close to the bed does the pumpkin get?

I don't run my truck nearly low enough to find out...I'm essentially at the same height as I was with the RideTech 3/5 kit. Which gives you around 1.5" of clearance between the axle tube and bump stop they supply. With the C Notch, I have plenty of room...in fact my coil overs will bottom out way before I run out of room in the C Notch.
