For anyone finding this in the future, all faults on the dash were related to the new HPTuners software for these 24-25 model trucks. Got with my tuner (Rob Shoemaker) and he was able to fix it all with a simple revision of the tune.
Whipple has been on about a month and I've had an intermittent issue with the advancetrack, parking brake and some other light flashing then immediately going back off. Seems to always be under acceleration. bad part is even if I have the advancetrack all the way off, it will still flash, then...
'25 "custom" 3/5 drop. QA1 coil overs with ridetech upper control arm in the front. IHC flip kit and traction bars in the rear with KellTrac street/strip shocks in the rear. Rides like a dream with the KellTrac shocks. the IHC shock relocation and provided qa1 shocks were JUNK.
didn't take the time to read through what everyone else said but I'll put my piece out there. Do NOT under any circumstance buy anything from IHC. Call Kelly Aiken at Kelltrac and have him get you setup. I had IHC on my truck for ~4500 miles, it was AWFUL. Switched to Kelly's setup and it...
Before whipple 23+highway 19+ average. After whipple 17 city, haven't driven much highway with it since the whipple but on the short highway cruises I have done I think it will be about the same as stock.
Depends entirely on your goals for the truck... I'm newly whippled, 740wheel rcsb 4x4 and on the street, on street tires it is a rolling four wheel burnout from anything less than like 50mph.
Few questions... first, what wheels are those? they are awesome! second, did you ever look at the Kelltrac rear shocks? They claim the most travel of any shock for the flip kit setup and are double adjustable built by Viking. Just ordered them for my formerly IHC truck.
After driving around on the normal 3/5 flip kit drop in my '25 since June I have hated the ride, doesn't feel hooked up at all, ever... even before the blower etc... had started thinking four link was the answer and this post cemented it for me. IHC trash, your days are numbered.
This is wild considering Friendly down there in Houston area sells more whipple trucks than anyone and it seems like every one has a side exit corsa on it.
I run the Motion Raceworks two stage can on mine... gut the PCV valve, use a couple of their barb'd quick connect fittings on the valve cover and whipple easy peasy setup and it looks great too.
