For snowy conditions, width of a tire only hurts your traction.

Pirelli makes a 275/65R20 and a 275/60R20 that are 3peak rated. The 275/65 is rather expensive though because it is tied to the rivian from the factory.

Anyone got a good recommendation on a 3 peak rated all terrain tire that’s around 295/60-20 or larger and either SL or XL load rated? Not E.

Running nearly new Ridge Grapplers and they’ve been horrible in slick conditions. Was looking at Toyo AT3’s, but I’d go down to 285/55/20 for their SL tire.
Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus? Even the larger E sizes have some impressive capacity. And I've been super pleased on their winter performance. Drove 8000 miles across the country last year through some nasty winter messes and they got us through.

Just the person I was looking for. What size are you running and what affect has it had on your PB mpg?

I actually went down a size to 285/55R-20's. Worse mileage than the stock Pirellis (which weren't A/T) but better mileage than the Grabber AT/X's I had for a couple thousand miles. Only slightly smaller diameter so I didn't bother with any speedo recalibration. Keep in mind that I'm not towing any heavy loads - usually nothing over 5000-5500 lbs. I run them at 44 psi normally and 47 when towing our travel trailer.
