I've got 22K miles on mine, 275-65-20. I've never noticed any problems in rain. But then I drive pretty normal (conservatively) in the rain. I've never noticed them hydroplane. One time, I noticed them slip when taking off from a light in the rain, but that could have been a combination of many things including pavement type, oil on surface, etc. Your mileage may vary, but I've never noticed anything.
I remember one person saying they sucked in the rain and he's even had them slip on dry pavement. Well, that tells me a lot about how that person drives and I think most tires would have problems under those circumstances.
