I've got 22K miles on mine, 275-65-20. I've never noticed any problems in rain. But then I drive pretty normal (conservatively) in the rain. I've never noticed them hydroplane. One time, I noticed them slip when taking off from a light in the rain, but that could have been a combination of many things including pavement type, oil on surface, etc. Your mileage may vary, but I've never noticed anything.

I remember one person saying they sucked in the rain and he's even had them slip on dry pavement. Well, that tells me a lot about how that person drives and I think most tires would have problems under those circumstances.

20,000 miles on mine and I love them. Still getting 23 MPG in a power boost.

Any update? I’m wanting to put the 295/70/18 SL tires on in my F150. How do they handle in the rain?
Well life happened and I’m still rocking the original tires. I’ve only heard that they are fine in the rain and better than some of the competitors. Now I’m debating between the Recon Grapplers (295/70/18) and the Terra G3’s (275/70/18) when I’m finally able to get new tires.
