275/65R20 Recon Grapplers 116T

My towing consists of a bass boat and a utility trailer so I went with the 275/65R20 Recon Grapplers in the standard load tire. Nitro reports them as 34.09” x 10.98” and 47.53#s. I put the more aggressive side wall tread out.

Stock sport wheels and 2.5” leveling spacer.

That’s the tire and level I plan to put on my 24. Any thoughts on ride comfort yet compared to stock?

Thanks. I’ve only put about 30 miles on it with the tires and level. I don’t off road so I’ve never had an issue running a leveling spacer in the past. I honestly can’t tell any difference from stock so far.

THE Joe Lee! Yessir it’s been a few years. Our kiddos are grown! Well, just two of mine are haha. Didn’t you have a Chevy back then??? Sharp looking truck! I almost went with grey, then saw this one in blue and chrome and my old-school came out. You probably don’t remember, but I had a lifted s-10 crew cab when I lived in Monroeville. I had black wheels before they were cool. ?

I’m currently on a work trip to El Dorado, AR— about 250 miles from me. I’m 100 miles in and averaging 21.4 mpg on these tires cruising at 70mph in eco mode. First 70 miles was hills on hwy 49 and interstate. Now that I’m in the Louisiana delta flatland, it’s slowly creeping up. Hum is almost inaudible. Once I sound dampen the doors and a few other places It’ll be gone completely. And the ride is so much nicer than the previous LT recons I had on my last F150.

Yep I was a Chevy man for a long time but have moved to Ford for the last few. My son had an F150 in velocity blue a couple of years ago and it remains the prettiest color on a truck imo.

What does Ford call your blue?

Atlas Blue. It seems to change color based on the lighting. It’s the closest to a royal blue that I’ve seen recently. I think it may be a bit lighter than velocity blue.

Final product. Added 1” lift shackles to get a bit of rake back. 2.5” puck up front. Also adjusted RAS to the higher setting. These trucks squat way easily with a couple hundred pounds in the back. I have about 1.5” of rake loaded now. Perfect for me.

I thought I preferred the Sport Appearance Package on my Atlas Blue Lariat, but your truck makes me think I should chrome it out! Looks really good!

I agree that Atlas Blue looks damn good either way, and being in my mid 40s, I dig the old school look.
