I’ve had my eco-boost for about seven weeks now. And I have to say, MPG on it isn’t good. Vehicle average since purchase is 15.1 mpg, bone stock I got 19 to 20.5 on the freeway. After the level and upsize to 34 inch tires, I am averaging about 16 to 18 (lucky on the 18) on the highway with an overall average of 13.7. Kinda missing my 3.0 powerstroke at the moment lol. Obviously the power of the truck is far better than the powerstroke, and you get pro power on board too, but it would be nice to at least get 18 on the highway consistently LOL.
I have 15.5 but I am new and green. Have 200 miles on it

Mileage on my trip from Ft Collins to Colorado Springs. Adaptive cruise active in eco mode. Not sure I believe it. I was hovering around 23-24 mpg most of the trip, but the last 30 minutes it kept going up.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is at least close. Best trip I had was Denver to CO Springs and back and averaged 25 by the trip computer (in my experience actual is probably about .5 to 1 mpg below that). Around the front range I get great mileage (as long as I don't hit much traffic which is a big if), but I do about 3 to 4 mpg worse typically in the mountains. I can never seem to make the gas it chugs going uphill back up on the down...

17.0 after 1800 miles. Lariat 157 wheelbase.

I get above 17 in town but less than 17 on the highway. My 2018 145 wheelbase was the opposite and averaged 17.8 mpg.

I've got a powerboost hybrid so I am getting like 22 mpg with mixed driving but truck only has 1300 miles. I discovered that the +/- buttons can be used while in Drive to remove top overdrive gears so you can avoid lugging in too high a gear and adding turbo boost that sucks gas that a lower gear would prevent turbo boost. Basically press - while in D and 10th disappears, press again and 9th disappears, etc so you can shift down even in cruise while coming into hilly areas and just push + to add back a gear, again for another. Modify the drivers display so it shows turbo boost gauge and lower gears to avoid boost especially when towing. Hope this helps. Of course the Manual mode also lets you select gears with +/- but it will take you out of automatic gear changes.

I have 600 miles on my 3.5 EB and average 22-23 (according to the mpg lie-o-meter in the display) That's mostly highway driving like an old lady. I don't want to stomp on it until it gets broke in.

Just thought I would quickly share my last 7500+ miles. I started tracking with around 4-5k miles on the truck and it’s been incredibly consistent hovering right around 20.

We live in Denver and have a cabin in the mountains at 9700 feet that is about 150 mile drive all on 2 lane highway crossing a 10k foot pass on the drive.

City driving is true “city” driving (we live in Central Denver) not suburban driving as I think EPA estimates are probably calibrated. Think 20-25 mph side streets with stop signs every two blocks.

Overall I'm pretty happy. Would still rather have had a PB if I could have found one. I bought off a lot in January for a little over 10% below MSRP on a 502A and they wouldn't negotiate on PB order pricing though so it is what it is. I was recently talking to a friend who says he averages 20 overall in his Outback.

FWIW trip computer is typically high by between .5 and 1 mpg when I fill up (usually reads between 20 and 20.5 on most fill ups).

i Have almost 2200 miles on my 3.5 ECO and I am averaging about 17.8 MPG. About a 50/50 mixed highway/city. Premium Gas. I like the accelerator too much:)
Give the engine a chance to break in some, let that Prius beat you off the line at a red light.

You and me both.....haha! I've been getting anywhere from 18-21 mpg depending on how I'm driving. My '13 with the 3.5 wouldn't touch anything over 17 so this is pretty cool...lol.

Stock 2019 XLT Sport SC 4x4 - My average is always around 19.5 mpg. I take it easy on the highway and use Sport mode quite often on the streets.
