I ordered a 5.0 because I liked the exhaust note and just preferred the engine over my current 3.5. My point is not stating it sounds better. I agree with you....all ICE make nice "music" My favorite is the Aprilia Tuono...the Triumph Triple is really nice too.
First you state you can't make a 6 sound good. Now you state it still sounds like a 6. This video of the Raptor is not as impressive as in person under full throttle, but you have to admit this 6 sounds good. Watch the last demo segment.
I've heard the Raptor in Baja Mode from outside the vehicle, full throttle. It's amazing. Not as impressive in this video as it is in person...but still cool.
A lot could be my age and experiences with V8 engines since my first vehicle. I definitely prefer the exhaust note of the V8. I think for other, the ability to build the coyote engine is appealing. I also believe others think no matter how cool the 3.5 is, it's still not a V8. I would not turn...
Yeah, I also have PENDING which is odd because Ordertrack.app stated SHIPPED two days ago. I'm not sure if Ford is once step behind or Ordertrack is one step ahead.
It's easier to sell a dealer stock vehicle if the consumer knows the truck is missing features when they buy it. When you order a truck, it is basically a contract. You are paying for what you ordered. If Ford ships your ordered vehicle missing features and expect you to pay the full...
Very true and I'd love to know the priority of the chips. People who ordered Platinum models, months after my order date (9/21) have already received their trucks.
This may be for non-ordered vehicles. I share your build week of 1/10. The Ford website no longer shows an ETA for my truck, which was 04/26. I'm hoping this means there is some type of movement. I have no idea which features require chips...so I cannot comment on what deficiencies I would...
My original 2021 Lariat order was on 9/11/21. It was converted to a MY22 on 11/17. It was built on 1/10 and the delivery is estimated 4/26. The chip shortage is real.
