23 Powerboost cold days

Hi there,

I have noticed a strange sound when it’s cold outside. I remote start my truck 15-20 min before heading out and roughly 2 miles down the road a get a loud sound. It seems to stop when I completely stop and then hit the gas to continue moving. Video below for reference. I am new to fords. Last truck was a taco. Love the ford better. This happens only in am, it’s perfectly fine the rest of the day.

Sounds like iwe my truck does the same thing 2023 f150 4k on it in the morning. I live in Minnesota I was at the dealer they did tsb 242189 replaced both actuators. Truck still has the same problem

EIWEs -- they auto auctuate below freezing and if they're growling they need serviced by dealer. Only applicable to XL/XLT/Tremor/raptor 22+, Just about every MY21 F150s

I’m going back to the dealer this week not sure if they can do anything more but I’m gonna have a documented anyway we’ll see what happens

You'd think that guy would learn to look before crossing the street after the first couple of days1

Had a noise sort of like that. Turned out to be in the transmission. It occurred only when temperatures were below 15ºF. The transmission fluid expands and contracts with temperature. It was contracting below the suction pipe. Dealer fixed it by topping up transmission fluid. Did a chemistry analysis on the oil and no problems present.
