Makes me happy to have my 2025 XL!
I think the navigation was removed from the XL trim in 2024 though, maybe not. My previous 2023 XL had it.

I believe the middle screen should be the same as 2024/2025 though.
My 2024 has navigation. šŸ˜‰

  • 12" dash cluster "Productivity Screen" in 2025 has been downgraded to the 4" dash cluster display with analog tach/speedo
    • From an aesthetic perspective, I think this is actually preferred to me, but I'm curious what functionality is missing if any?
  • 12" Center Display for SYNC 4 for 2026 vs 12" LCD Capacitive Touchscreen with Swipe for 2025.
    • What's the difference here?
  • It looks like for XL "Pro Fleet" there is an option for 40/console/40 for the front seats
    • Is this an option for regular cab? I'd prefer to have a center console than a bench.
  • Removed "camera only evasive steering assist" and replaced with "Camera only"
    • What's this? It sounds like it may just be the same thing but worded differently.
  • Navigation has been deleted
    • I assume no Ford-native navigation - only CarPlay type options?
  • Shows "Tow Haul" removed from 5.0 on XL.
    • Maybe I don't know exactly what "tow haul" is, but is this saying that you can't option a tow hitch on a truck??
  • Atlas Blue has been removed as options (others as well, but ones that were available to an XL in 2025)
  • Argon Blue Metallic added as new color
    • I for one am excited for this if it's the color I think it is. Looks like it should match either BMW's Interlagos Blue (a slight purple undertone) or Le Mans Blue (no purple).
  • Grill changed to "black" vs "black coast to coast"
    • I have no idea what the difference is here - are there any actual changes?
  • Removed bed storage boxes
I don’t think you’d necessarily lose any functionality of the 12ā€ dash cluster over the 4ā€ with analog gauges. With the digital you can choose to see actual readouts of things like oil and coolant temp rather than a basic ā€œdummyā€ gauge.
12ā€ center display is probably the same as before, just worded different. Same for the black grille.
The 40/console/40 front seat is limited to fleet customers on hybrid only, ie crew cab. So not available on regular cabs.
Not sure where you’re seeing no tow/haul mode with 5.0, even if that were the case that’s only the drive mode. Still comes with class 4 hitch with 4/7 pin wiring.

The only thing that would irk me about that change with the cluster besides how nice the digital looks, is the fact that you can't have the readout for the dummy gauges. That is annoying because I think otherwise if those showed actual values, it wouldn't bother me as much because the 4-in center screen, is similar to what I always have my fuel economy on.

The more I think this is a temporary change more than anything. Everything is going digital so I imagine over the next few years that will become a non-issue.

I usually get a new truck every 3 years or so. That usually get me the new redesign, then the mid cycle refresh and usually back to the next body style. However I may just have to keep my 21 lariat 502a for a while and see what next gen looks like.

Was hoping to see some colors like Guard, Blue Jeans, True blue, or Race Red back.

Bring back some two tone looks like the fx4 style in 2004 range with a dark shadow gray bottom. Bright red over gray and I’d it order today.

Argon blue is nice but you can’t get that in a platinum or sport package.

Platinum i personally would like to see them give an option to have it like 2021 where it was chrome wheels and grille. Not just the all sport look.

The Platinum Plus gives you the brushed chrome wheels and grille.

I don't think you can get a Platinum Plus in anything other than a 145" wheelbase.
Correct. That’s what was I saying, would be nice to get the platinum plus ā€œlookā€ but in a 157wb. Basically a little chrome like they were in 21-23. The way the platinum looks the last 2 years basically looks like a lariat sport package, which is probably why they got rid of that in the lariat long beds, but are now brining long back this year the black out pkg for lariat 157wb.

I know they have streamlined options to make it easier to build and order, but you wouldn’t think a satin grille, handles and some chrome rims on a platinum 157wb would be the end of the world to add on the assembly line.

The funny thing around here in the PNW is that I've never seen a KR with a 145" wheelbase.

New:

Deleted:
Antimatter Blue Metallic, Atlas Blue Metallic, Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Space White Metallic.

Note:
Marsh Gray remains from 2025, but availability adjusted (e.g., required on King Ranch two-tone lower accent).
Antimatter Blue still shows as an available color. It appears to be an upcharge color, too.

Remember the days when with every model year increase or mid cycle refresh you could usually look forward to getting more standard features which gave you incentive to trade up to the newer year because they kept improving it. Now it seems like all you have to look forward to now is less features for the same or more money. šŸ¤” Try and add the V8 now and they really gouge you! 😧😬. I’m glad I got my V8 when I did. Seems like a premium feature now.

The V8 option is $120 on the Lariat. Hardly a gouge it my opinion. Inflation is real…

I’m excited to see the Argon Blue Metallic color come to the f150. I work at ford Kentucky Truck Plant where the Superduty is built and the argon blue is by far my favorite color but i don’t need a truck that big
Is the Argon Blue anything like the old Velocity Blue? I loved that blue and they discontinued it for 2022 when I ordered mine. I got the darker Atlas Blue which is nice but I wanted Velocity Blue.

Now if only they would bring back Autumm Orange or a darker burnt orange.
