Just for a data point, my '24 rcsb xl has navigation that works without my phone connected to the truck. My understanding (from this site) is that a '25 would lack built in hardware support for nav, but could still do nav through a connected phone. Then I guess for '26 they're really putting the hoop-de-doo on xl customers with a non touch 12" center screen and loss of the digital instrument cluster. Ford is hustling backwards.

Is the Argon Blue anything like the old Velocity Blue? I loved that blue and they discontinued it for 2022 when I ordered mine. I got the darker Atlas Blue which is nice but I wanted Velocity Blue.

Now if only they would bring back Autumm Orange or a darker burnt orange.
FirstTimeFord beat me to it lol.
it’s dark but has a nice metallic to it that really looks good in the sun. Not so dark it looks black at night though like some of the recent blue colors
Hmm, looks close to Sonic Blue

By far my favorite f150 ever made and really wanted one when I first got my license but couldn’t afford the insurance on one as a 16 year old with no real job.

I think the 12-in screen is a poor wording situation. It doesn't make sense that they'd have a screen that big and it not be touch plus it's compatible with CarPlay and Android Auto. And it still has the built-in owners manual. I think it's just a mistake or poor wording.

Still a bit miffed about the digital dash though. That's stupid to get rid of that

Looking at the Lariat 502A vs 501A and I'm perplexed at how the 502 is so much more expensive for what you get. So it includes the office package, rear heated seats, 14 speaker package, and chrome side step floorboards. They dropped the HUD from this package and made it an optional add on but I still don't see $4K worth of gain for what you get.

Anyone have a 502A that can speak to this? The only thing I'd like to have is the HUD but that won't happen with the 501A and I'm planning to do my own audio build so the extra speakers mean nothing to me. Also doing the BAP so the floorboards are wasted. You'd think the price would scale if you had both packages, but they don't.

Where are you getting prices to make this comparison?

What's the $ difference between 501A and 502A starting MSRP for 2026?

I've received three build quotes from Granger so I can price out all the options I'm looking at. The 501A is $2760 and invoice is $2429. The 502A is $6880 and $6261 respectively. Again, the HUD has been removed from 502A and is now an option only for the 502A package.

These prices haven't changed from 2025.

That's not my understanding the way it reads. All 2024 and newer f-150s, get the class IV hitch, 4/7 pin connectors, and they have good towing ratings with the 5.0 and 3.5. But that is not the actual "trailer tow package"

If you read the order guide under XL where it shows standalone packages, It's showing it's optional on non 2.7 trucks that are super cabs or supercrew.

Screenshot_20250928_101950_Chrome.webp

Essentially what Ford did is they made the old crappy 53B class IV hitch package standard on every F-150, bumped the tow ratings close to what the 53A type package used to be which was the official "trailer tow package". And then now offer the 53T, as the new "trailer tow package" that has slightly higher ratings and the trailer brake controller.

They then dropped the 53C "max tow package" and created the max towing axle option That can be added to the trailer tow package 53T.
I suppose where it gets confusing is that under standard equipment it lists it as "Tow/Haul" which is said - in my mind - identically to how it lists under optional equipment. This is just listed under "Selectable Drive Modes." So while they may hold the identical name, one may be a selectable drive mode and another is something of actual substance?

I really think the center 12" screen is the same as the outgoing model years sans integrated navigation (of which I wouldn't use anyway). Standard on XL is below (including CarPlay/Android Auto which certainly give you the navigation app connectivity of your choice - Waze, Google Maps, etc.)

Yeah those are just the modes for the programming. Tow/haul you get by default but it's not the actual tow/haul package for the trucks mechanicals if that makes sense.

But at the end of the day, most of these trucks now are incredibly well equipped from the get-go without a tow / haul package because of the way they revised it for 2024. You're just not going to get the trailer brake controller, which you can just add after. Rear end ratio isn't a big deal for someone like me either.

It's like I said prior, my truck is rated to tow 9,500 lb with 1,977 lb of payload. Those are incredible numbers especially the payload for an actual real life situation. Might just be me, but I'm not towing anything more than 6,000 to 7,000 lb with a half ton truck. I'll go buy a 3/4 or 1 ton at that point haha.

Colors:

New:
Avalanche, Argon Blue Metallic, Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat.

Deleted:
Antimatter Blue Metallic, Atlas Blue Metallic, Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Space White Metallic.

Note:
Marsh Gray remains from 2025, but availability adjusted (e.g., required on King Ranch two-tone lower accent).
I don't understand how avalanche is a new color, just because they removed it for a year and brought it back. Think space white filled that void and looks like that's gone now too. Argon blue can be seen on F250's sitting on the lot currently. I think Marsh Gray like someone else mentioned should be available with BAP, that would be a great combo. Glacier Gray on the F250 would be a nice color too

According to the dates I found before that showed the order dates, looks like job one isn’t until week of 12/22. Which I thought they were down a week or so for Christmas? Probably won’t see any retail orders delivered till early February I bet. That’s if the order gets picked up first with no restrictions.

the real questions is when is the B&P configurator going online?

Agreed, I'm waiting for that before I place my order.
When I ordered my 2023, I had the order guide and options selected that I would want, and ran the invoice pricing to see where I would be at. However, I didn't discover Granger's discount until just after purchasing so I kicked myself in the foot heavily. However, mine ended up getting bought back so all hope wasn't lost?
The chances of me ordering a 2026 are low, but they're not 0...

This. Tow/Haul "Mode" is a selectable transmission shift logic intended to improve towing performance; standard feature on the dial. Tow/Haul "Package" is an upgrade option that adds in uprated hitch, trailer brake controller, and a lower geared, E-locker axle.

I like the "Majestic Sunrise" of my 2014. I'm with you on bringing that color back.
