WOW, $4,500.00+ price increase in just 2 years for a BASIC XL. I can only imagine the higher trims. What changes did Ford make in these two years to raise the MSRP and option cost? Tariffs???

Just for grins, the annual exercise of building / pricing the 'closest possible match' to the 2022 Lariat described in my signature block.

2022 Lariat 500A SuperCab 145" WB - $57,225 MSRP (last year of Lariat SuperCab, everything I want, nothing I don't)
2026 XLT 301A SuperCab 145" WB - $59,915 MSRP (+$2,690 for many less features, no TOD / 4A transfer case, but at least it's a SuperCab with 40-console-40 seats and preferred 18" wheels)

2026 Lariat 500A SuperCrew 145" WB - $68,675 MSRP (+11,450 still missing many features I have, with forced damned black interior to get 40-console-40 seats, a F-ing short-box SuperCrew, but at least 145" WB with preferred 18" wheels)

Still so very thankful for my no-longer available unicorn Lariat SuperCab, a long-term keeper for sure, Ford has nothing to interest me in 2026 at any price.

No regrets, no worries, carry-on. :)

I wish they would allow a Tremor with the 6.5 box.

I have a 2023 Tremor V8, and the only thing I would change if I could would be to have it with the 6.5 box, and oh yeah.....a heated steering wheel that got deleted :)

You can easily add the heated wheel. Many do, including me.

It appears they have made 2WD an option again for all levels, even KR and Plat. That's a definite change in direction.

"Easily"?????
If you are tech savvy, yes. If you need the grand kids to explain the TV remote, then better to find someone near you that uses Forscan! 😉
There are many threads on here and some YouTube videos with very good instructions.
You'll need to do a little research first to find out if your has the necessary parts pre-installed. You mentioned it was deleted right? In that case, there's a good chance they are, just not the heated wheel.
If you are serious about adding it, I can help. Overall, it cost me about $250 and about 4 hours of work. Much less $$ and time if you find your parts pre-installed.
Lastly, since your truck obviously was supposed to have it, the dealer could do it for you but I guaranty it will cost you lots more $$$$$. Much more than the measly credit they listed on the window sticker.

Thanks for the info, but I'm just not willing to do the tweaks. At this point, I've learned to live with it, even though its one of my favorite options on vehicles. I don't wish to tear into the dash or mess with Forscan at the moment.

I priced my 2024 Lariat configuration minus ambient lighting out of curiosity. $2500 more. Not great, not terrible I guesss

Didn't see any "jumping" out stuff
During a quick eyeball check

Door keypad is back again... As a $455 add-on
Cost me less to buy the parts and install it myself. Not sure why they decided to make it so costly.
