yes, agreed. I would not go there to pay, but if it should have been done, then they can finish it at no charge. I’ll check locally first to see the cost as it may not be worth the hassle of going back
Thanks! That’s great to see an example of it done. I will have to ask more questions. The dealer is a couple of hours away, so I’ll have to plan for it.
If you have Pro-access tailgate, they don’t seem to want to spray them. My 25 with Pro-access was done my lineX and they did not do the tailgate. Same place did my 2023 tailgate. Anyone know the reason ?
Interesting to note that your brown wire is in the first or last pin, but MDCheddar's brown wire is located in the second pin location. Could this be a difference for Stop/Start vs Tailgate?
On my 2023 powerboost with a working tailgate button, the wires are different colors, but the #1 pin...
Retractable rear center step is not the Step that is integrated with the Tailgate. Its a fold down aftermarket type step. Mostly useless IMO as you can only use it to step up to the pro access door. You cannot reach it when the tailgate is down.
So yes, both can be applied to an order
I looked back and someone said that the same connector was used for the Stop/Start. Someone also posted a picture of a dual switch. I don't think this is Stop/Start, looks more like its for the Tailgate and Pro-power. Still looking the correct split switch.
NO. I got the panel you show above. There is no insert, its a solid panel. Mine had no spots for a switch. You will need the dual switch, but you won't need the panel.
This is Canadian pricing. Bezel is for Black interior.

Oops. I had a 2023 with the Tailgate release. Now I have a 2025 without it. I updated my profile as I missed changing the year until you mentioned it.
I checked the wiring on the 2023 powerboost and then on the new 2025. The same connector and wires (visually) are present. This is...
In theory I would think so. I have a powerboost, so not Stop/Start. On my 2023 I had the single button. What lookeds like the same connector and wires that others have posted with the Stop/Start and Tailgate release. This is why I believe that the connector supports different...
I did a little more comparing to my 2023 Lariat that had the switch and the Power tailgate.
For 720-12-01 my TGAW was set to enabled (A)
720-12-01

0024
I can't see how that would enable the switch, but why would I not have the tailgate ajar warning? So I will try to change...
Here is the comparison on my truck vs a 2024 with the active tailgate release. On those bits I'm an exact match. Unless I can change any of those to something, I don't think we are there yet. :)
