2025 F150 Forscan Cannot Cancel Auto Start/Stop

I need to shut off Auto Start Stop on my 2025 F150! Is this now impossible on Forscan? Looks like Bambi mode is also impossible to enable.

I use 4D Tech as well. Easy to install. I installed some Ram products for my phone and Ipad at the same time.

I just did Bambi last night on my 25 Platinum. I used the Non-As Built method. Worked fine. I didn't try S/S disable as I already have the 4DT.

On my '17, I ran a jumper wire on the back sided of the switch so that the truck saw the switch as being pushed as soon as the truck was started. Not sure what wires to connect for the '25, but that is the route I would look to.

I felt I “needed” to permanently shut off ASS as well. Neither my truck nor my jeep get driven often and when they do it is almost exclusively for short trips. I need those vehicles to run the entire time to help keep the batteries charged and to get them to operating temps.

Some people hate ASS but it doesn’t bother me at all. But for my use, I believe it is better for my vehicles to keep ASS off so that the engine can continue to run and it’s worth a couple of bucks and five minutes to not have to think about it.

Turning off the ASS was always something I wanted to do (you will never sell me on the idea that this doesn't cause major problems to the engine and battery and all sorts of stuff) as soon as I got my truck. I was shocked when my wife suggested it before I even mentioned it to her. I think it's shut off with ASS three times since I got it and she was in there with me once. She asked what happened and I explained it to her. She said "That's stupid. How does that not screw up your truck? Can you get rid of it?". I said they make things to turn it off and she started looking on Amazon there in the truck for me. Bought it about 15mins later.

I forget now that it even has it available.

I was able to program Bambi Mode in my 2025 F150 Lariat. I haven’t tried to disable auto start/stop because I just bought the auto start/stop eliminator.
