Big project last few days.
I ordered OEM Lariat take off interior off eBay ($229.00) and heated/cooled seat elements ($450.00) from leatherseats.com.
This video was really helpful along with the leatherseats.com install videos:
Passenger seat will be just heated...very easy install of the heating pads. These are 100% compatible with the OEM seat pressure sensor that detects an occupant.
Heated/cooled is much more involved as you have to clearance the foam and then hook up the vents/motors. Not difficult, just takes longer. Leatherseats.com sells this kit with precut templates as an option to ensure you get the foam modifications correct.
You will loose a few of the OEM cover attachment points with the install (in my case, the middle green Velcro ones were blocked), however lots of other videos and threads I have read indicate that this is not a big deal on the overall fitment. You can notice that on the drivers seat, right seat in the pic below, the backrest cover is not as tight in the middle panel. I didn't find it to be a negative on my install and a small tradeoff for a cooled seat!
Back in the truck!
I have not wired up the switches yet as I am waiting for my hill descent control switch to arrive before I pull the dash apart as I don't want to do it twice!
FYI I was lazy and have not done the rear seats yet...but the rear covers were included with the kit I bought. I'm debating going ahead an adding heated seats to the rear...
IMO for less than $700.00 this modification cannot be matched for the upgrade it provides!
