So I'm kinda lost on what I need to upgrade my crappy stereo. I've already got a Rockford P300-12T powered sub + door block off plates(not installed yet). I'd like to fix the bass roll off and replace stock speakers with some nice ones. I'd like to get a nice set of component speakers and amp for them but is a DSP necessary for just 4 speakers plus sub? Should I replace with 6x9 or 6.5? Which LOC? Or do I need one? I've seen custom wire harnesses costing as much as $400 or basic T harness for about $60. Is KEYLOC 200.4 powerful enough for a premium set of components? I had some Audiofrog door speakers years back in a regular cab chevy but I always felt they were under powered with a Sony HU that supposedly put out 45 watts RMS. I've done lots of reading but regular cabs are rare and not much I can find that specifically relates. Seems the more I read the more I get lost. Any and all help is much appreciated

This is the sound system I recommend for your truck:

Sound System

I kid.....I kid.....I think a Kicker KeyLOC 200.4 would be perfect for an RCSB. I replaced my front door/a-pillars speakers with 6.5" components, but only because I got a really good deal on them. I would not have had a an issue keeping 6x9s up front if I needed to.

So is the kicker key 200.4 as good at fixing the bass roll off as the Lci2 pro? That's what I always see recommended

From my understanding, it is better than the LC2i.

I did Kicker 670 speakers/tweeters with kicker 51hs10 sub all powered by kicker key 200.4 with Hush Audio plug and play harness and SGS block off plates and a bit of sound Matt in the doors.

I’m super happy with the results but I’m old and have bad hearing anyways.

Overall it went from sounding like a transistor radio to an actual stereo.

Our base trucks do not have bass roll off.

Thanks, I was unsure about the bass roll off in our trucks. Does the kicker key amp have plenty of power? Looking at some component speakers and don't want to underpower them.

Has plenty for me. I’m no where near full volume. Same with the base.

Did Hush Audio bridge the 4 channels down to 2 or is each speaker getting 50 watts?

It does not have "Bass Roll-off" like the B&O trucks, but it does have an EQ that is applied to the interior speakers. You can defeat this by using ForSCAN, code 727-01-02 in the ACM ASBUILT

Yes, just make sure you understand what the spreadsheet is telling you to change
