2024 Platinum vs Lariat

2024 F150 XLT. Does anyone know if Blue Cruise can be turned on with Forscan? I had the 90 day subscription and it ended. My buddy had a 2023 Raptor. He said for some reason it wasn’t ever available on that truck since he got it. He had someone use something to plug in and turned it on. Wondering If I could do the same thing with my F150 XLT since my truck had it at one time.

I currently have a 22’ platinum powerboost with the max towing package. It has had 5 axles replaced due to the ongoing issue that I’ve posted on here before.
I’m trading this truck on a new one. Here is my question…
I see very little difference in the lariat with the 502a package and the platinum with the 702a package. However, there is $11,000 difference in the price. The automatic running boards and the heated rear seats is all I can find that is different. What am I missing? Thx.

I was on the same fence awhile back. For me there is one MAJOR difference between the Lariat and the Platinum that was a deal breaker and forces me to go with a Platinum..

I would require the Black Appearance Package on the Lariat but when selecting that, you are now not able to get the 157" wheel base (6.5ft bed). Which is also a requirement for myself. So by going to the Platinum you can get a SuperCrew with the 157" WB and it basically has all of the black colored features that resembles a BAP. It sucks that Ford makes it this way and forces a person to go to the Platinum for this configuration.

So in addition to the handful of extra luxury features that you get with the Platinum (which I do like as well), you are also able to get the dark interior with black trimmings and a 6.5ft bed.

I get it. This is my first King Ranch. I got it because it was a much better value than an equivalent platinum. I enjoy the interior color design and say it’s nicer than my 15 Platinum, 21 Limited or 22 Platinum. Now that I’ve had it for almost six months I don’t mind the KR branding. Very happy with it overall.
